Summary: Oh Dear!
Review: this woman is an absolute joke....is she for real,or do people actually think like this. treason is just loaded with so called "fact" but it doesnt stand up and should be placed in the "big brother" fiction section of the library. Old fasioned fascism with religion and a belief that america is the holy land is the main idea ann tries too convey. if your in for a laugh borrow this book.

Summary: Parellel Universe
Review: At first i was stunned by the monstrous stupidity of this book. But as i delved a little deeper i realized there were other forces at work here. The force of true genius. Like the bizzaro world of the D.C. Superman comics, Coulter cleverly creates an alternate universe where everything is not as it seems. In fact, it's the total oposite. What appears to be an eggheaded skewering of all things liberal, is actually, if read correctly, a brilliantly realized expose on the fatuous and mendacious conservative agenda. For proof of the books unique thesis we look no further then the cover itself. The cover photo presents Coulter as an intelligent, thoughtful, but also sexy conservative spokesperson. Those of us in the know after reading the book realize she is not only a lesbian, but has moved to the forefront of liberal and even radical thought.

Summary: Public Service Announcement for Conservatives
Review: Please be advised of the following diseases which are reaching epidemic porportions among conservative; the heartbreak of Coulteritus, and the debilitating Bush Fatigue Syndrome:

Coulteritus:
a contagious mental affliction, similar to tourettes syndrome, causing one to speak and write in half-truths. It is characterized by the inability to consider competing ideologies and generate coherent, rational thoughts or ideas. Suffers from coulteritus are known to spontaneously espouse irrational ad hominem attacks against those holding opposing political views, and resort to hyperbole rather than reason in debate. Right-wing talk show hosts frequently suffer from coulteritus. Suffers from the disease commonly perceive the world in black and white only. Conservatives are especially susceptible to this tragic affliction.

Bush Fatigue Syndrome:
an illness similar to chronic fatigue syndrome. It is caused by the strain of the constant daily need to defend or rationalize the poor decisions, horrible domestic record, and foreign policy blunders of the president. Die-hard Republicans are especially prone to get this disease. It reached epidemic porportions after no wmds were found in Iraq, and Bush supporters had to sell the case that we "really" went to war to "liberate the Iraqi" people. Additional flair-ups occured after the last SOU address, after every monthly employment report, general accounting reports regarding the historic deficits (especially when inheriting a budget surplus is referenced), and the president's fumbled interview on Meet the Press. Symptoms include extreme exhaustion, irritability, and dizziness.

Summary: A new culture of hate.
Review: Slander, treason, all vitriolic aspersion of the right. You've read one of these books, and you read them all. They call it talk radio, I call it a culture of hate, fear and division. Put all the anti-liberal attacks in a row, and change the word "liberal" to any racial or ethnic slur, and you would have an uprising of outrage. Would the radical right re-write history and put liberals in a ghetto or concentration camp? Probably not, but their rhetoric feeds on a politics of hate. Liberals are no more a problem to society, than are true conservatives. Great movements and great leaders unite us. This type of scape goat rhetoric only gives its author a free pass on examining their own conscious. True, liberals could fall into the same trap. It is the nature of being human. We long for that which would bring us together, not drive us apart.

Review: It is easy to create your own reality. But it is hard to convince others its real. Just ask a nutcase like Anne Coulter.

Summary: Here it is...
Review: Reading the reviews, I see that people against the book are only going "SHE'S LYING! SHE REWROTE HISTORY!" But did she rewrite history, or did she re-rewrite history? I went to a conservative private school, so our history book didn't go into how evil McCarthy was, just a few lines about how many "believed" he was a bit out of control.

What befuddles me is how people simply ignore Venona. Hell, last year there were editorials all over about the Rosenburgs, even one by their son, who still claims their innocence. I didn't see one mention of Venona. Just last week, I got into a debate with some liberals about the Patriot Act and we came onto McCarthy. They showed me all this stuff from 1994 and before. I posted a PBS report on Venona and the debate ended. But...even though most of the suspects turned out to be traitors, do some people believe that since McCarthy didn't have enough evidence that they should have been let go? Would their freedom to profit from selling out their country be worth more than the risk of us in 2004 waving the hammer and sickle?

Another great analogy as to why Reagan was such a great president compared to the mediocre Bush is that the latter proved you can't win the "Cold War" by appeasing the opposition. Bush's "compassionate conservatism" in domestic policy has been so left of center that his critics should be pleased. If Reagan would have catered to the Russians, we would have lost that war or it would have led to an eventual loss. And while Left vs. Right isn't a "war" per se, it is a meeting of opposing beliefs, and Bush's "compassionate" policies have let his critics and his haters get a foothold against all of conservatism.

Lastly, I think a lot of what Coulter says in tongue-in-cheek. I read a transcript of the interview Bill O'Reilly did with her (and he didn't fruityfoot around with her, either) and she said a lot of it was just jokes. I mean, does anyone take everything Al Franken says in his books for 100% serious? Many of the 1-star ratings say if you read this and like, then you're close minded, bla, bla, bla. But who is close minded, believing what textbooks in decidedly liberal schools across America say, or challenging that with research? Don't believe Coulter or those who pan her. Research it yourself.

Summary: Good book
Review: Excellent book, both in analysis and comedy. The main problem is that I don't see a lot of liberals reading the book, but Coulter is probably fine with that. Factoid: Ann Coulter is buddies with liberal Bill Maher.

Summary: Setting Things Straight
Review: This book is wonderful. If liberal newspapers were required to footnote their articles as well as Ann Coulter, they wouldn't have much to write about. Rather than taking a typical newspaper approach to creating content that fits their interests, this book states the facts AND SUPPORTS THEM. All journalists could learn from this example.

Keep up the great work Ann.

Summary: Conservative Usurper who destroyed the Liberal Golem!!!
Review: A. Coulter takes command and rips into the liberal ideal, guts it, and then throws the exterior shell of falsehood out in the field to rot, like a carrion body in the sun. Profound and riveting book of conservative reason and common sense logic. Very populist in style and very understandably, none of that high minded or highly complicated jargon here (like with some conservative writers, example: William F. Buckley, Jr.). And, MUCH more direct in mannerism than the other conservative writers of today.

I have read a lot (in my search for the truth in matters of politics, philosophy, etc), reasoned out and concluded a lot of the material exposed in this book. What got me were the bits and pieces I have read over the years that were never consolidated and put forth as it was in this book. I have read some material recently that support and concluded statements made in it. It seems just lately conservatives are getting braver (!?!).

The McCarthy deal I have known the truth about it for decades. But just recently, I have seen entire books written (basically) in his favor; incredible martyr and great patriot. And the great part about it is ALL THE RECENT FACTS REVEAL THE GREATNESS OF THIS MAN AND ROY COHEN. You know, on one of those documentary channels (I think the History channel), I saw and heard nothing but a horde of lies from beginning to end on outdated material on Senator Joseph McCarthy (an hour long show). I was dumbfounded by the sheer idiocy of the statements made. Some of the "facts" in this presentation were disproved way back in the '60's and some up to the '90's (with the uncovering of the Venona documents). What a load of B'crap! Quite frankly put, the liberals hated this man because (technically) McCarthy exposed a wolf in sheep's clothing ...ALTHOUGH THE PROPAGANDA CAMPAIGN AGAINST HIM WORKED ... they knew d#mn well that McCarthy laid waste their future success of a gaining more foothold in the subversion area of the USA. {I think they tried again during the late sixies with the drug/radical movements ... but they didn't prove to be good philosophical commies ... just simple minded non-directional, idiotic anarchists ... like some of the hollywood actors and writers}.

The Liberal Golem (an artificially created human supernaturally endowed with life) is a hellish nightmare of horrid ideals and concepts. The insane nonsense and irrefutable calamity of political philosophical error is simply freaking amazing. I was one when I was young but I could not continue on with living in the lies. So blatantly illogical in nature. THE ONLY REASON WHY IT EXISTS (OR IS BELIEVED TODAY) IS BECAUSE OF THE CONSTANT AND PERSISTANT BLUDGEONING OF PROPAGANDA BEING PRESENTED IN THE MEDIA UPON THE CITIZENS IN THIS COUNTRY! "Flog that dead horse! Maybe it will arise on its own and lead the wagon (USA)." Fat chance!!!!

Something that has not been revealed (because of its probable dark nature) is quite simply, LIBERALISM IS PARASITIC POLITICAL ENTITY (IN A KANTIAN SENSE). It is incapable of living on its own. Its temporary success depends on the proactive conservative character. And a parasite always needs a host... it dies without one. In fact, if it ever overcomes the majority of conservative ideals (as a mainstay in the USA) it will have to ultimately destroy itself. That is why some of their agenda reveal a suicidal character in nature (in a Freudian, subliminal way). Like the abortion issue, kill off our own and bring in outsiders to replace the people ( for work, etc.) And the common usage of drugs among them.

Well (I could go on - but I am not) Ann Coulter is great. This and the 1960's Barry Goldwater book , "Conscience of a Conservative" are my two favorite books. And she's right, Liberals are traitors (part of their parasitic nature) and a lot of them are strict humanists (no hope with no future) but I also believe the majority are ignorant (not dumb but uninformed and jam-fed one-sided liberal beliefs).
