Summary: Read It and Weep (if you're a Lib)
Review: This book is must reading for anyone that wants to know the truth. All the evidence is clearly laid out by Coulter with a 'pull no punches' effort. I hope the foundations of Academia and the New York Times crumble after this truth-bomb continues to drop on the high-brow leftist elites.

Summary: Wow, who knew history could get this twisted?
Review: It's sad to think about the fact that Ms. Coulter can't quite get past this need to take historical facts and move them around to make her point. Democrats were on the House Un-American Activities Commission too, not that most people concerned with making sure that they yell louder than everyone else so that we all know that they're right and anyone who disagrees with them hates America wants to remember that. Most Democrats today probably don't want to think about that either. But Ms. Coulter's just too strident to ignore, and her book is too screwy to ignore either. Read this if you've ever wanted to realize why Fox News has to speak in words with less than 3 syllables.

Review: Talk about slander! Ann Coulter's most recent diatribe isn't worth the paper it's printed on. Every page carries at least a half dozen distortions or flat-out lies. She does not even attempt to back up her unbelievable claims.

Summary: It¿s a miracle the world survived this Assault on Truth!
Review: This book places a huge roadblock in the way of revisionist history. This book is must read for everyone to be able to understand the collective efforts of liberals to empowers themselves at the expense of the constitution, justice, common sense and morality. I have seen these tactics in my lifetime and now I am aware of the history of those same strategies back to the 1940's. I am thankful for the information in this book and terrified at the same time.

Review: Ann has it right. The liberals in our country have always been for redistibution of wealth, confication of arms, re-education via political correctness, etc. They ARE the losers in the cold war and they continue to push their bankrupt socialist / communist agenda. The liberals know what best for everyone and consider themselves 'elite'. To them I say, get your hand out of my pocket and get lost.

Summary: 2 much librl bashing distracts from the compelling arguments
Review: A very well documented book (46 pages of endnotes) on the repeated errors made by liberals on matters of national security (from Soviet spies to the Vietnam War to the War on Terrorism), and how history is ritualistically rewritten by the liberal-controlled academia and press to demonize patriotic Americans who they considered threats to their cause (J. Edgar Hoover, Joe McCarthy, Richard Nixon, Ken Starr, etc.). The only problem I had with this book was that every third sentence included some insult against liberals. Though I'm sure such comments would be considered funny by people (including myself) who agree with Ms. Coulter's premise, it often distracts the reader from an otherwise compelling argument. This book is great for the target audience, but unfortunately it won't help much to convince the legions of moderates to cast a skeptical eye on (1) broadly accepted historical accounts of the last 50 years and (2) any attempt by liberals to cast themselves as strong on national security. If you can get past the barbs, though, I would highly recommend this book.

Summary: FOOD FOR THOUGHT
Review: After reading "Treason" and many of the subsequent reviews, which by the way are as equally entertaining as the book, I submit to you the following thoughts. In response to statements fron the left such as..."there's not a word of truth in the entire book" and "the problem with conservatives is they only see things in black and white", ponder this "gray" concept. Let's say for arguements sake that only 50% of Ms Coulter's book could be corroberated as factual, given her litterary flair. Even at that, one would almost assuredlly have to come to the conclusion that, at a minimum, the left has proven themselves unpatriotic if not actually treasonist. Furtermore, contrary to the left's popular belief that untill Ms Coulter's book came along no one had ever questioned the left's patriotism before,is bologna! In my 50 yrs. on this earth I've found myself questioning the left's motives more and more every day. I'd like to thank Ms Coulter and her book "Treason" for affirming my already mounting suspicions. "Treason" is a must read for everyone, it definetly provides some provocative "food for thought".

Summary: Democrats really are WEASELS!
Review: Ann Coulter precisely articulates what I have noticed for years: That liberal democrats revile patriotism to the extent that they will betray their own country! Her extensive vocabulary enables her to express herself so clearly, that even without the voluminous documentation you cannot deny that the left takes the side of evil just about every time. It is increasingly apparent that liberals act only in their own self interest, and will do nothing difficult or effective to protect our country from the evils against us. The parallels drawn between the Cold War and the War on Terror are creepy. The personal attacks, "fascism", and besmirching of character that Republicans and conservatives are accused of doing on a daily basis by the Left, were frequently a tactic used by Congressional Democrats during the FDR and Truman administrations. The Democrats were just as unlikely to label true evil as evil during the Cold War as they are now in the War on Terror. You thought Democrats were weasels before! Wait until you read Treason! This was my first book by Ann Coulter. I enjoyed it so much I will be sure to read her others as soon as possible. Her commentary is entertaining and lively, yet this book is by no means fluff. There is simply too much to take in and I wouldn't call it a "quick read". Then again, such subject matter shouldn't be taken lightly anyway...

Review: This book is the real history you did not get in high school. I was shocked to learn that all the things I was told about McCarthy in school were not only wrong, but patent lies. This book is a necessity for those who are students of unrevised history and those who wish to understand the psychosis of the left. Get this book!

Summary: Pure entertainment- I am botoxed, so read me roar
Review: Ok Ann. I read the book. You rant and rave in print to make your money but on the small screen you barely speak (Fox News) and your expression is so drawn out that I wonder how much of this extreme speech is not meant to bring in the cash to maintain the exact appearance that you show on the jacket cover. 2 stars for entertainment. The extremists in our country only serve to keep the majority of Americans who vote focused on the real issues and for stand up comic material. Bleached out and botoxed just like the book's jacket. I would rather see Ms. Coulter do something constructive with her beliefs. Every town has a cynic. She is just making money off her cynicism while posing as a historian and critic. There was nothing new in this book.
