Summary: Land of the free for the right only
Review: I have one simple question for Ann: WHAT'S WRONG WITH COMMUNISM?

Her totalitarian ideology approaches that of Stalin and Mao Zedong. By declaring that any opposition to the Republican agenda is treason, by labeling dissenters as traitorous, by supporting the obstruction of self-inquiry, Ann Coulter EMBRACES the premises of the Communist regimes she loathes so passionately. How convenient it is to be able to accuse anyone who disagrees with her of being "anti-American."

If patriotism is placing witch hunts on a pedestal, encouraging an atmosphere of fear and suspicion (as her suggestion to start a committee for monitoring "un-American activities" will surely do), condemning the questioning of authority, and ignoring the merits of peace, then YES, I am unpatriotic. So be it.

Balancing the necessity of political discourse with the necessity of national unity is tricky enough as it is. Ann Coulter's extremism is bent on destroying both these elements. That she can so easily sell her books and convince people that all liberals are liars and traitors is frightening. We needn't confront our enemies abroad and root out spies in our government. The degeneration of America will begin right at home, with the hearts and minds of the the American people.

For a clearer picture of the ideals the Founding Fathers believed in, and a more heartening read, pick up another recent best-seller instead: Walter Isaacson's Benjamin Franklin. Franklin was a man who embodied wisdom, common sense, industriousness, energy, humor, tolerance, strength and compassion. What a difference between him and Ann Coulter.

Summary: Liberals Beware
Review: This book reminds me why I'm so proud to be a member of that vast right wing conspiracy. Ann is sizzling in this latest work, which is her best yet. Not only does she blast liberals in a most satisfying manner, but she has the history and research to back up her claims. Liberals Beware!

Summary: A sad example of radical right-wing fanaticism
Review: Don't bother buying this book. Coulter doesn't present facts or explore issues from an unbiased point of view; only her radical unsubstantiated opinion. It's people like Coulter that promote hatred and intolerance.

Summary: A Gift Gone Wrong
Review: Well, at least I can appreciate what everyone is talking about, Ann Coulter is ubiquitous (Kobe, Scott, and Ann 24/7), but I received this book as a gift, and as a joke- which it is.
You can't slight Ann, though, she is laughing all the way to the bank! (I heard tell she is a millionaire) and, I rarely miss a chance to hear her views when she appears on TV. (I wonder if Hannity gets a cut on her books.) She must have the best agent, ever.

Summary: Don't go here looking for intelligent conservative thought
Review: Anyone who raises Joe McCarthy to the status of a patron saint really shouldn't be taken seriously by anyone who has half a brain. The respected conservative publication National Review dropped her column for good reason -- sloppy research and writing. The fact that her ranting comes in a package that's young, thin and blonde (nice black, slinky outfit on the cover, Ann -- adds a lot to your journalistic credibility)is the only reason this woman is getting any media coverage - if she weighed 200 pounds, nobody would care.

I'm sure she's angling for a show on the Fox News Channel, but like Rush, Ms. Coulter is just the latest right-wing flavor of the month who's bound to fade away, leaving behind a minor cult following at best. Let's hope that happens none too soon.

Summary: Bile
Review: This bubble-headed bimbo with bulemia spits her bile like a jaded, unloved, malnourished she-cobra. The ultimate joke is the gullible audience who ultimately buys into this snake oil. Ms. (and I use this title loosely) Coulter's obvious contempt for her readers is shameful. Did any of you bother to check her endnotes - which keeps her somewhat immune to the liability of these lies? A pathetic, distorted con job. She and the whole anti-American Faux News Group should be rounded up and shot for treason. Now that's unintentional irony.

Summary: sort of a sad book
Review: I am a "conservative" and tried to like this book but it was nearly impossible. She is not so much an author as a political operative who has done nothing to increase our understanding of what she is talking about.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Required History
Review: Ann has encapuled an unrefutable history of democrat treason.

The liberals are frothing with rage over her truth attacks.

Oh well.
