Summary: Please, can I give this a zero?
Review: There is nothing believable in this book. Ms. Coulter comes off as a bitter woman who does NOT represent the feelings of American women, or the American people. This book is nothing but spin-fluff written to give the term "liberal" a new, terrible meaning. Hmmm, I thought liberal meant generous...maybe you just have to actually be thinking to understand the definition. The only reason to buy this book is as a halloween accessory for your witch costume.

Summary: To Bleeding Heart Liberals
Review: Ann Coulter is a very knowledgable writer. For those who can not or will not see the facts she lays out, you need glasses very badly. Try watching Fox News so you do not always get a biased report of what is taking place in America. Around the world for that matter.

Summary: Coulter on Coulter
Review: All your need to know about Ann Coulter and her latest book, "Treason: Liberal Treachery from the Cold War to the War on Terrorism" is succinctly summarized at the beginning of Chapter 7 of her book, "Slander: Liberal Lies About the American Right":

"If liberals were prevented from ever again calling Republicans dumb, they would be robbed of half their arguments . . . . This is how six-year-olds argue: They call everything 'stupid.' The left?s primary argument is the angry reaction of a helpless child deprived of the ability to amount logical counterarguments."

Now leaving aside the question of whether it is better (or even more civil) to call a class, or an individual, stupid instead of a traitor, it does not strike me as especially bright to turn your argument on yourself as Ms. Coulter has done ? in the titles of her two most recent books no less

Summary: Shamed by Franken, Outsold By Hillary
Review: ---- Shamed by Franken, Outsold by Hillary ----
-------------------- or -----------------------
------ Coulter Learns What A Footnote Is ------

Al Franken pretty much eviscerated junk pundit Coulter's last hack-hate job in his already classic best-seller "Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them." And he did it by supporting his claims there on the page, not in some deceptive footnotes clumped away in the back of the book.

(Which, despite Coulter's ignorance, are "endnotes", not footnotes. There's a significant difference - especially in a book supposedly attempting to make a case of some sort.)

Check out Chapter Two for Ann's shameful deceit concerning the New York Times handling of Dale Earnhardt's death -- Franken shows a photo of the actual paper in question so you can see for yourself how Coulter lies, then cowardly attempts to build her "case" on more lies, stacked on the first lie.

Too bad his book came out too late to cover "Treason."

Like Rush or O'Reilly, Coulter knows where her red meat's buttered, but while the Ditto-headed bully-boys at least make an occasional attempt at wit - Coulter is a one-note ranting off-the-chart bile-spewer. She seems incapable of writing even a single sentence that isn't weighted down with name-calling or making fun of how a person looks or making some spiteful, character-smearing pun.

Her big gimmick for this book is trying to make McCarthy a misunderstood hero - the same cheap shock tactics akin to claiming the holocaust never happened, or that G. Bush won the popular vote. While there's nothing wrong with investigating any much-accepted "truth," Coulter's contemptuous bias and clumsy writing robs you of the ability to enjoy it even as the simplest "what-if?" intellectual exercise...

And unlike Al Franken, Coulter is spectacularly humor-free - the only laughs you get out of "Treason" are unintentional, mostly from the grammatic gymnastics she goes through to torturously include Bill Clinton into a sentence that has nothing to do with him. Or the rabidly bizarre and desperate attempts - as she did, erroneously (no surprise) with Newsweek's Evan Thomas - to connect anyone she disagrees with somehow by-any-smear-necessary to Socialism or Communism. (You can see why she loves McCarthy so much.) But then, that's Coulter's paranoia showing - everything is a conspiracy, and a tired, unoriginal one at that. It's the reds! It's liberals! The media! Clinton's fault! Sputter! Drool!

There was a big to-do about how Coulter's book was going to trounce Hillary's (they both came out about the same time) - but Mrs. Clinton's "Living History" outsold Coulter's book many times over. (Don't take my word for it; check the Drudge Report - no fan of the Clintons, he -- for the figures.) That's a good sign for these troubled times, and for the next election. Already, Coulter is losing what little ground she could have gained, if she'd just toned down her tiresome hate-mongering and billowing self-loathing even... a ...tiny... bit... Even conservative pundit P.J. O'Roarke can be found quoted: "It's not so much what they [best-selling conservative commentators] say is wrong, though Ann Coulter does seem to be completely crazy."

But this is good news for liberals, and even better news for the country.

As for swill-meister Coulter, the only thing left fueling her pathetic excuse for a career now is to see how low she's willing to stoop to debase herself - and her increasingly desperate party -- next.

Summary: Don't hate me because I'm beautiful...
Review: Well actually, it was Xena: Warrior Princess who said that, but it could so easily have been said by Ann Coulter. Clearly the sixties-onwards sartorial Stalinism of the far-left, by which women are supposed to be dumpy and plain and wear baggy trousers, underlies some of the hatred and derision that has been aimed at attractive Conservative women such as Maggie Thatcher and Ann Coulter. This, of course, is reverse discrimination, as a woman should never be chastised for her appearance, either way.

Yep, the Reds have been furiously clicking their 'NO' buttons on every remotely pro-Coulter review. The fact that they are even stooping to "review" the book, which 99% of them will not have even read, is proof that they are merely using the tried and tested bully boy tactics of "If you disagree with somebody, shout them down and ridicule them in the hope that they'll shut up and abandon their position as a result of your blanket intimidation."

The more the "Liberals" attack people such as Ann Coulter, the more they prove the correctness of her conclusions. Treason? Whether the Left's actions over the last 60 years have literally been treasonous in technical terms, is a matter for debate. That they have been wrong about everything that matters, and that their simpering lay down and die appeasement policies have seriously compromised America's and the West's security, cannot be in question.

Keep watching the NO votes, folks. Let's see how desperate they are to suppress my review as well. Why else would the No Lifers be cruising the Ann Coulter book reviews? How utterly transparent. I preferred Slander, but this book is worth buying just to support another incarnation of the Iron Maiden.

Summary: Lies, Lies and More Lies...
Review: I challenge anyone who thinks this woman has an ounce of credibility to read Chapter 2 & 3 in Al Franken's new book "Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them",in which the author demonstrates clearly and inarguably that Coulter is a bald-faced liar.

Summary: Utter Nonsense
Review: I thought that I'd enjoy this book, but Ms. Coulter doesn't make any intelligible arguments. I highly recommend not wasting the time that I did reading this book!

Summary: Truth Hurts
Review: Its apparent from some reviews here that the truth hurts. Its pretty amazing how hideous the liberals look when the truth is told. A huge media spin machine is needed in their case, treason is a subject that needs a lot of sugar coating and misdirection and the democrats are masters at it. Must be that Soviet influence.

Summary: Ann Coulter is so cold blooded and hateful
Review: This entire book is Ann Coulter epitomizing the republican party. That is, being ignorant, lying, and making up complete bull**** to slight the leftists.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: The brilliant Coulter hits another home run
Review: Coulter's latest book, "Treason," is thoughtful, insightful, and thought provoking. While it may be difficult for partisans to overcome prejudicial attitudes, it would be unfortunate to deny one's self of the intelligent, well-informed case made by Coulter. "Treason," like Coulter's other works, presents a refreshing perspective of history and truth in a way that many would be pleased to stifle. A thinking person seeking to find the truth would be remiss in ignoring Coulter's work in that process. The positions she challenges are the ones we are most familiar with yet the evidence she offers in disproving the status quo is compelling.
