Summary: Shame on you Ms. Coulter.
Review: Treason is a very strong and loaded word to throw around. The casual use of it to describe those who simply hold a different point of view is indicative of the gutter tactics of the right. Anyone can search through historical events and spin them whatever way they want to find examples of "treason" on EITHER side of the political spectrum. Like for instance, a certain administration's connection with Saudi Arabia and it's aid in helping Saudi's citizens in the USA get out of America in the days after 9-11. For that matter, sleeping at the wheel while the 9-11 plot was being hatched - right under our noses in our own country - could be considered treason. Well, if not treason, how about dereliction of duty? Which is pretty much the same thing. The author of this book should be ashamed of herself.

Summary: Scathing indictment of liberal disingenuousness.
Review: It will never cease to amaze me that people will still cling to long-held beliefs even in the face of fresh and compelling evidence to the contrary.

Ms. Coulter's latest book is a scathing indictment of liberal disingenuousness. Many dislike her "in your face" style, but this has nothing to do with the fact that this lady does her research.

For too long the intelligencia, the literatti, and the glitterati have gotten a free pass regarding their incessant denigration of our great nation and her institutions that have served us so well. Labeling these views "treasonous" may be close to going over the top, but the fact remains, as post-9/11 biased, filtered, mainstream news coverage has born out, that there is a very, very small yet vocal segment of our society--namely media, entertainment, and academic elites, who despise this country. Ann Coulter has done an invaluable service to this country by exposing their shame.

Summary: McCarthy was right.
Review: Forget everything else you read in this book and focus on a few simple questions: Were there commies at state? Were there commies in the administrations? Was Hiss a commie?
I can do without the rants against FDR and Truman but the answers are an unequivical YES.
All you LIB's out there can't admit it and will NEVER admit it and I guess thats another conclusion that is reached in this book. All the obfuscation and misdirection is finally being wiped away. Joe McCarthy was right.
Read the book, research her conclusions and get informed. By the way, her mild focus on the new threat of the U.N. and international law is very telling of where the Lib's are going with their policies. Triangulate through Madame Allbright's book and Hillary's book.

Summary: WARNING: This Review May Be Trying To Brainwash You.....
Review: ....AHC would like you to believe. It seems like every act of 'treason' Mdm. Coulter has chosen to rant about in here has violated the human rights of millions of Americans (hey, what about us in the rest of the world?) by not fitting in with her illogical, narrow-minded viewpoint.

C'mon, there's nothing wrong with being right wing, but if you're going to be an illogical, mis-informed, bigoted nut, then please don't document it in a book and attempt to pass it off as an expose of how liberals are destroying the world. Coulter's views are, for the most part, poorly thought-out, mis-informed and unclear, and she seems unable to acknowledge any benefits of opinions other than her own. She doesn't seem to be very clear about her history, quotes blatantly false 'facts', and does not seem to have much of an understanding of the world outside the US. (or even within the US, for that matter).

Coulter makes lots of high claims and acts very 'holier-than-thou-and-thy-liberal-warmonger', but rarely has anything to back herself up, preffering instead to make a discreet segue into another uninformed rant. If you want books by right-wing authors, check out BillO'Reilly, at least he's sane and intelligent. Ann Coulter is no better than bible-thumping xenophobic close-minded self-serving extremist fools like Pat Robertson, Jerry Falwell and Michael Savage. Just because left-wing writers like Chomsky and Michael Moore go a bit overboard and extreme sometimes (and lets face it, they tend to do that quite a bit) doesn't excuse the existence of cr/\p like this.

Just another lying right-wing fanatic. No wonder everyone thinks the Conservatives are all nuts, they're being represented by people like AHC.

Summary: I read the book! It's accurate! It's great!
Review: Ann Coulter is the greatest political wit and satirist of our era. Her re-evaluation of so-called "McCarthyism" is valuable, well researched, and a long time in coming.
I can't let the most recent liberal lies about her book that (...) get through either. In a October 28, 2003 (...) claims to have found two "errors" in Ann's book: that Harry Dexter White was not a WASP but a "Jew," and that the Rosenbergs were not from the Bronx. Earth-shaking boo-boos, aren't they? Too bad these "error" citations are false. Go to any web search engine and type in "Rosenbergs" and "Bronx" and see if the Rosenbergs lived in Manhattan the way the Indy "reader" claims. And as for the claim that Harry Dexter White was Jewish, go to the ADL website and you'll find out that that claim is part and parcel of anti-Semitic "conspiracy theories" about White's role in the creation of the International Monetary Fund. Shameful that (...)could allow such an anti-Semitic calumny to be published under the guise of criticizing Ann's book.

Summary: A whiny, extremist rant.
Review: If you're looking for objective, astute, reasoned, rational political analysis, you won't find it here with this whiny, extremist rant. Coulter takes historical events and spins them to reach predetermined conclusions. Those conclusions are not facts, just opinions (and myopic, narrow minded, mean-spirited, illogical opinions at that). If that's what you want to read, go ahead, this book is for you. Turn off your brain and enjoy. To Coulter's credit, I don't think she tries to even pretend she's objective or accurate. She's just spoonfeeding the extremists what they want to hear and she more or less admits it. Objectivity, accuracy or anything that doesn't support their narrow-minded point of view is not what they're looking for. So, why bother with those little details?

Summary: all the wild horses
Review: First off, let me admit that for most of my adult life I, too, hated America. I it was that piloted the tank Dukakis, it was me next to Ms. Beret in the famous film clip, I lofted snark at the Studmuffin in Chief as he strode fearlessly in his state-of-the-art flight suit.

Ann H. Coulter changed me. Not so much because of her book, which, friends, we all know is a tedious melange of newspaper clips and hysterical lunacy. It is those liquid eyes, that manly posture, the equine countenance. I saw the future of rock-and-roll last night & it was me making love to Ann H. Coulter. Let Freedom Ring!

Summary: Liberals & moderates: READ THIS BOOK
Review: Clearly, this mean-spirited, poorly written and pathetically researched trash is meant only for the brain-dead far right. However, it is important that everyone be aware of what is being written and read. Those who ignored Mein Kampf or laughed it off as the rant of a weirdo lived to regret thinking that. Take this crap seriously people. Be aware of what is going on and how twisted people can be. History shows how lies of this nature can take hold no matter how ridiculous they are to rational thinking people. Unfortunately, far too many people believe the garbage spewed in here. Watch out. Be informed. Be careful. Don't let garbage like this go unchallenged. And don't ignore it.

Summary: I don't think Ann actually believes what she's writing.
Review: With the proliferation of conservative pundits entering the radio/book/editorial market, the more extream late commers to the game have to be to get their share of the pie. Sadly, her emphasis on "shock and awe" was at the expense of her own credibility.

Summary: mccarthy hero worship run amuck
Review: Ann Coulter decided to spend the first half of this book exonerating Senator Mccarthy. She makes several minor errors such as saying the Rosenbergs' were a Bronx couple -(they lived in Manhattan) and saying that Harry Dexter White was part of the Wasp establishment that sold this country out. (he was Jewish). So it indicates that she probably never read a book pro or con on the Rosenbergs or any material on the Silvermaster spy cell. Ironically she proves the liberal point in saying that Mccarthy accused anyone who disagreed with them as being a red as she recklessly does also. She couldn't call the book Reds or Comm Symps beacause of the fall of Communism so she decided to generically decide that liberals support anyone that tries to destroy this county including Bin ladin. Its too bad that liberals in general can't sue for Slander( Ironic again I used that word)Ann Coulter seems to be carving out a market of John Birch readers and others of the far right. If you thinking that I'm a liberal -you're wrong I support conservative interpretation of Mccarthy as Buckley and Bozell's seminal work -McCarthy and his Enemies but this ook is really over the top!
