Summary: Well-Researched, Accurate, and Unrefutable
Review: Ann Coulter has written yet another well-researched, accurate, and unrefutable account of today's and the past's liberals. Ann Coulter is very willing to engange the reader in an accurate debate regarding how liberals have acted in past administrations, from FDR to the Bush administration's war against terror.

What is quite surprising is that this book is considered controversial. Rather than debating the issues presented in the book, many liberal pundits were quick to make stereotypical remarks about Ann Coulter's hair color than they were about making comments about her arguments.

For instance, considering the numerous communist sympathizers in past Democratic administrations, you would think Ann Coulter's commentary would at least allow for an admission of fault. If anything, Ann Coulter's dialogue should be seen as a way of transforming the liberals and the Democratic Party. Rather than being a party that hates American values, it should be one that embodies them and tries to live up to them. Yet, our current Democratic Party, as Ann Coulter mentions, allows liberal extremists such as Rep. Dennis Kucinich, Rep. Maxime Waters, Rep. Diane Watson, Sen. Ted Kennedy, Sen. Hillary Clinton to run the party. Yet, if liberals were wise, they would listen to Ann Coulter's remarks and made policy changes so that they would be rooting for America's side rather than those of our enemies, including France.

Today Ann Coulter's remarks are just as accurate as when she wrote about the communists. Today, the Left is known for obstructing the war against terror, complaining about every minute detail that does not go their way, and criticizing the war against Iraq. And the Democratic Party's nominee, at the present time, appears to be Howard Dean from the ultraliberal state of Vermont. This is a disaster, and any Democrat intending to save their party ought to listen to Ann Coulter rather than belittle her for her common sense.

Summary: Is there something wrong with this woman??
Review: I have to be honest I only got through half of this book before I had to put it down. It is so full of half truths, mis-direction and just out there lies that you start to understand why there is such a division in this country. You have the conservatives who actually believe this Reich-Wing [stuff] (to borrow from another reviewers words)without anyone of them bothering to check out whether or not what she says is true and using it as justification to hate those who (non-conservatives) don't agree with them. This is just so sad. But the larger question is: WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS WOMAN? She doesn't even try to tell the truth. She takes two or three completely different facts(?) that have nothing to do with each other and makes them fit and pass them off as truth when in fact there is no way 99% of what she says can stand up under actual fact checking and scrutiny. This woman needs to be taken off the street before she hurts herself. There should be a law that what is passed off as truth in books such as this must be proven before a panel of judges or in the case of this woman; doctors.Buy this only if reading it will make you feel justified in hating those who disagree with you without any truth or facts to back up those feelings.

Summary: Interesting, If a Little over the top
Review: I find it interesting that a good many of what are purported to be reviews of this book, are little more than angry slams. I think many didn't even read the book. I did. The strong points are the thorough documentation allowing any and all to follow up for more detailed information if they like. I plan to do that in a couple of cases such as the Verona Project. I'd like to know more. It so happens I was living in Germany at the time this information was made public and I missed it. You don't get much news coverage in Germany as the International Herald Tribune and MSNBC are two of the few outlets available to English speakers. From that standpoint and for the extensive compilation of leftist quotes, this book was of interest to me. I agree with some of the reviewers that the personal remarks she interjects can be over the top. Half way through the book I found them to be distracting from the quotes and facts I was trying to follow. Wait until you get to the chapter on Hollywood celebs! In summary, it's an interesting read. All should be open minded enough to read it. You can't find that much stuff with that many citations and not have a majority of it be factual. Now, I have to see how Al Franken measures up.

Summary: Guilty of Treason
Review: Yes. All liberals are guilty of treason, which is by the way a capital offense. Once we start prosecuting these cases, this will present a logistical nightmare...so many executions. Perhaps we could learn something from the Germans. It seems they had a system for that sort of thing.

Summary: Do some research
Review: Ms. Coulter has written a very engaging polemic here. Unfortunately it is rarely actaully based on fact. This is an excellent example of "if you scream it loud enough people will listen" It is a shame that the conservatives in our nation have taken such an attack stance. I am a liberal and a proud American, the two are not mutually exclusive. This is a slanted, partisan, poorly written work based on hatred and a cheap attempt to grab at a market. Do not believe a word of it.

Summary: A Good Balance for Historical Truth Finding
Review: Lefties will attack this book because it seeks to deprive them of their hegemony over the media, historical revisionism, and the effectiveness of their only real device in debate: name calling. It seeks to deprive them of these things by exposing certain truths about them. Yes, occasionally, Coulter reaches for a bit of sensationalism in her expose', but given the facts she finally adduces (and they do appear to be facts), one finds it hard to blame her breathless incredulity, even her satirical anger at times. Media lefties always go on about a pol's "passion." But only when that person agrees with them. Coulter here is passionate, she's smart, a Cornell grad who worked her way up through the ranks in the tough arena of New York City journalism (especially as she wasn't a lock-step liberal), and has the tools (logic, deduction, syllogistic inference, fact-versus-emotion coolheadedness to make Southwestern community college dropout Michael Moore seem like a pimply faced adolescent, except for the fact that most adolescents would tend to be more objective and have more respect for truth. Coulter's first book, "Slander," was unknown to me at the time I read "Treason." Both books, I've since found, are compelling and often hillarious. The nation needs Coulter. The liberals control all the other media and have gotten lazy and spoiled -- to the point they simply engage in personal attacks. We deserve more than this. Free speech is about exposing 'ideas' to disciplined intellectual scrutiny, not about name calling.

Summary: Great Book
Review: This Book is absolutely great. It's doing a great job of holding up the corner of my wobbly coffee table and the pages make great rolling papers.

Summary: Hidden Truths Made Plain
Review: It was a very easy reading book with some excellent humor. It was nice to find out what ready happened with Senator J. McCarthy era. I always felt that the truth would be stranger than the last forty years of liberal media fiction about it, and I was right. It is a must read for any person wanting to know the truth.

Summary: Undeniable Facts and Documented Truths? Are you kidding?
Review: This book is so filled with prevarications that it boggles the mind. People who are loving this book have obviously only taken it at face value. Which is human nature. We believe what we want to believe. Stop believing, folks. There is nothing enriching or edifying about the contents of this book. Ann Coulter is someone in need of better research. What she has done is to take the most scant "facts" and twist them to her own purpose. We are a country of sheep and evidently Ann Coulter is the shephard for the conservative right. BAAAAAAAAAA! Hum Bug! Oh and Amazon.com, please give us all the ability to assign no stars. Thank you!
