Review: In this hot new book, Ann Coulter dares to remind her readers what the "liberals" and left-wing pundits of the news and entertainment media were saying about Soviet communism, socialism, national security, and how they smeared the patriots who tried to warn their fellow Americans about the alarming extent of communist influence inside the United States. She compares what "liberal" Democrats said and wrote with the realities that any intellectually honest person must now accept as true. And she proves that this is not merely a case of "20/20 hindsight" on her part, since there were many who told the truth throughout the Cold War years who were either shouted down or simply ignored by biased journalists and "liberal" talking heads.Although the book is marred by lack of reference to the revelations of Anatoly Golitsyn and the discoveries of Major George Racey Jordan, it tells enough about what really happened since World War II about the real threat posed by Communist infiltration -- and the willful coverup and enabling of these Red fascists by Establishment "liberals" in government, Hollywood, and the news media -- that the current generation can get an idea of who has been telling the truth and who has been lying to the American People. Ann Coulter pulls no punches and she dares call it treason when that's what it is. We can expect TV interviewers -- over 90% of whom are "liberal" Democrats or socialists -- to give Ann Coulter a rough time and play the "have you beat your wife?" question game. If this book does nothing more than to get more people to question the reliability and honesty of the New York Times, Time, Newsweek, the Washington Post, CBS, NBC, ABC, PBS, NPR, and the other outlets of the Democrat-controlled media empire, and to investigate for themselves -- by seeking a variety of alternate sources -- who is telling the truth, then it will have done a major good for this country.

Summary: Unpatriotic Anti-American Neocon Rants to Fellow Neocons
Review: This book is basically for people who agree with Ann Coulter. It is perhaps revealing that over 50 people recommending this book on Amazon also recommend that people read Adolf Hitler's "Mein Kaumpf." Coulter's rant will no doubt appeal to adherents of fascism. Her premise is that anyone who disagrees with conservative foreign policy dogma is treasonous. She does not believe in the basic rights of freedom of thought and expression envisioned by our founding fathers in the US Constitution, so one wonders who is truly the traitor to the principles of the United States, "liberals" or Ann Coulter. Read the book, you decide. There aren't many people that put Joseph McCarthy on a pedestal, but Ann is one of them. Charming.

Summary: You liberals are the reason for the ethical decay
Review: Their are still decent hard working Americans that like a good read and that expose you for what you are. I think we need to stand up and take a stand against laziness and free handouts and actually go back to the morals and ethics this country were founded on. Ann Coulter puts a female face on conservatism. The anti-Hillary. She tells it like it is and isn't afraid of a good debate. In addition to this book I would also recommend The Savage Nation by Michael Savage. This is another book that exposes liberal lies and decet.

Summary: Great writer but disillusioned..racist to boot!
Review: Whether if you're against the war in Iraq or not, you will most likely fall under Coulter's charge of treason at least once in your lifetime. No matter what the government says to justify any war, Coulter says any opposition is wrong. She says so in an interview with Chris Matthews and this is what scares me. This is not about being patriotic, it's about putting 100% of blind trust to strangers in politics. How infuriating to read that my choice to question the government's militaristic choices is flat out treason. If you oppose a hypothetical war to free people under the rule of a despot or a hypothetical war to force U.S. colonization on a country you are a traitor. She is eloquent but not enough that I agree to give in to every military decision our government makes. When she says Arabs physically stink, laughs and then says it will help sell her book, it makes my stomach turn. Sounds like she's hoping on racists to buy her book and not politically intelligent people. Then again, politically intelligent people will always question the government and they therefore would be traitors wouldn't they Ann?

Review: Deaf, dumb, and blind: the ego has her bewitched!!!! The worst history lesson I've ever received. Does she realize the irony behind her liberal vs. conservative rants?Today, the liberals are on the forefront in "conserving": advocating for enviromental conservation; conserving the integrity of the bill of rights; conserving the dynamics of our check and balances to ensure us an equal distrubtion of power. Meanwhile, her good ol' boys are reeking havoc. These "conservatives" are doing the complete opposite of "conserving": stripping nature of its limited resources , encroaching upon our traditional constitutional rights, etc.....this book holds no weight. If you're looking for historical insight please read Zinn's A People's History of The United States.

Summary: Grotesque Right Wing Extremist Propaganda
Review: This latest tome from Ann Coulter, the most loathsome and inflammatory of all political hacks, is filled with her trademark illogical/insane hate-filled theories and easily discredited "factual" claims. Did you know that anyone who openly speaks against the current administration is not merely practicing his or her right to free speech but is in reality irrefutably a traitor? Did you know that Joseph McCarthy was a "great American"? Did you know that "liberals are always against America"? Incredibly, Coulter makes these and other patently lunatic statements with apparent utter seriousness. Or does she? There is a growing theory that this notorious pundit spews such nonsensical and odious rubbish only because she knows doing so will earn her intense media coverage and, consequently, huge book sales. Watch her appear on dozens upon dozens of TV shows squealing about how the mythical "liberal media" doesn't allow conservatives any say. Listen to her well rehearsed and disturbingly obsessive slanderous rants against Clinton. Read her claims about how absolutely everything that is wrong with the United States can be blamed squarely on those nasty God-hating liberals. Perhaps Coulter is only a clever charlatan out to make a buck and truly believes none of the monstrously evil garbage she dispels. That may be but, sadly, the most dismaying thing about her newest pathetic excuse for a book is that there are perhaps tens of thousands of readers out there who are ready and willing to accept each one of her odious lies as gospel truth. And that makes this a genuinely repulsive book.

Summary: It's About Time: The Myths About McCarthy
Review: Ann Coulter's work is scholarly, factual and thoughtful. Anyone who is dismissive of this body of work is unwilling to be fair and balanced in their search for true history.
Senator McCarthy may have been dead wrong in his tactics. But was he wrong about Communists and Communism? We haven't had this debate, post-Cold War, because no one seemingly had the courage to analyze, in context, what was truly happening. Merely being dismissive of Coulter's stand with McCarthy won't hold water. Just read the files on Soviet Espionage revealed, as Coulter describes, in 1995. If her reference to these materials were the only defense of her position it might be enough for many of us who lived through the "Red Scare."
I recommend this book to all, of any spectrum. It's about time.
