Summary: excellent book for begginers
Review: This objectively written book says in very simple language the story of the Arab Iraeli conflict. It takes us back a long way in history to show the reader the connection of both Palestinians and Israelis to the land of Palestine/Israel. It is true and fair to the facts of history. It should be available in any public or private school library. I recommend it to anyone who wants to get educated about the subject and wants somewhere to start.

Summary: excellent book
Review: This is an objective, easy to read book that shows the development of the Arab Israeli conflict in all its multi faceted and complicated aspects. It tells the story of how the Jewish people came to Palestine/Israel. It also explains how their migration to Israel led to the displacement of another people living there. It talks about the present situation in Palestine/Israel and prospects for peace between the two peoples.

Summary: Spectacular and Engrossing
Review: It is rare that one finds such an exhaustively researched work. Ron David's tireless dedication to the truth, his relentless pursuit of the complete picture, go far beyond the hollow simplicities of American media reporting on the Israeli-Arab conflict and expose the gross falsehoods which have been perpetrated upon the American public since the colonization/invasion of Palestine began more than one hundred years ago.

You must read this book as a starting point to knowing the 20th century history of the Middle East. Even if you already know a great deal about it, this book will provide you with some eye-opening facts and serves as an excellent quick resource for the major points of contention.

Brilliant, sophisticated, and extremely well-written. Laugh-out loud humorous, too, which is some feat for a book that deals with so grave a subject.

Summary: The Voice of Truth
Review: You can rarely find a book on the Arab-Israeli conflict that does not repeat the anti-Arab stereotypes. If you want to know what is really happening in the middle east, read this book!

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Extremely one-sided, non-objective point of view
Review: I am trying to find out the truth about the conflict and was very dissapointed. This book only contains the bad things the Jewish did. I did not say that those are not facts, but in order to be objective and to learn the truth, information was needed from both sides. The author also put personal comments that were very sarcastic. For example, after describing about a man who cruelly murdered Arabs, he said "Sounds like quite a guy!". I personally as a reader did not need those sarcastic comments. I want to be able to make my own decisions about what I think. If the author intention was to present his own point of view on the matter, certainly he has the right to do so. However, maybe the title should be different. The title should clearly said that this book was his own point of view and did not represent the Jewish point of view. I felt deceived and manipulated.

Summary: INSIDE PALESTINE
Review: I just wanteds to say that this book is beyond great. I love this book, it shares bothg sidesa of the story. People are hearing all their lives that the Arabs are the evil and the Israelis are the angels (poor little tensy winsy Israel) But most people have read this book and said it was bad, they say that because they are afraid and dont want to listn to both sides. They have a one sided mind. Watever Israel does its good watever Arabs doo is bad (Including that Israel hit and shot 34 Americans of a Liberty boat wich many Americans dont even mention that, i guss they dont even care about their own country and denie that it happend as if those 34 AMERICANS never exicsted. If Israel kills Americans than thats ok even for Americans... The American Government has helpt Israel slaughter and make war with arabs. USA has killed over 4,000,000 civilians in wars, (Including in Iraq when 100,000 Iraqi children die every year because of health problems, because the American Heros who saved the world from the evil has killed over 1,000,000 Iraqi children UNDER THE AGE OF 5 thats the way the "Good Guys make peace They never think about the Arab side, Imagine if all the Christians enter America, slaughter the American people, blow up their homes, send many of them as refuges, and have the world hate them and never denie that America ever exicted, how would they like that, shee i wonder.

Summary: Excellent book, very truthful and revealing.
Review: Excellent book, very truthful and revealing. Easy reading, yet humorous. Very intelligently written. Should be read by all!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Excellent because it's TRUE!
Review: Almost everything everybody has heard about Israel and Arabs in the Middle East is biased and filtered. This book tells of things true but never been heard of and it makes me happy that somebody put them into a book because it's about time people know the truth.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Concise, but slightly partial
Review: Ron David has done good job of exposing the truth behind the conflict in Palestine. Many a western-newssource seasoned reader will be enlightened by the recounting of events such as the Deir Yassin massacre, the Zionist offer to aid Hitler in the Middle East, and the realization that almost every single Israeli prime-minister has been hypocritical in speaking the words "I do not deal with terrorists." I feel that it is sometimes slightly biased in favour of the Arabs, though. But on the whole, and excellent read.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: One (extreme) side of the story...
Review: It is nice to finally have some sort of balance for the propoganda fed to us by the American media regarding the Middle East. I found this book to be very extreme in it's views. However, if you are serious about researching the subject having resources that reflect extreme attitudes on both sides, as well as middle-of-the-road opinions, will help you to be well on your way to a better understanding of the complexities of such a subject. Fun reading...good starting point for reasearch...
