Review: This is likely the best book i've read in the last several years. One of those books where you are outraged, depressed, crying, screaming and laughing at the same time, one of those books you wait for all day until you can sit down with it again. At least the first half of the book... the second half wasn't quite as powerful for me, but still wonderful. I understand how someone might think this view of compassion "wimpy" and "same old same old" But it really is a way beyond despair and rage, a way of protesting evil without letting it consume you. It's not about forgiveness, It's about power and action.
