Summary: One of the greatest books I've ever read!! Good job!
Review: Congratulations to Jim Marrs for taking on so many mysteries at one time! Marrs built the conspiracy scenarios to a crescendo, weaving in the inter-locking pieces and leaving the reader breathless waiting for the next big shock! I loved it!

The most thought-provoking read on "Remote Viewing" I have ever put my hands on. What I would like to know is: what's the technique used to prepare for this practice of "remote viewing"? I wouldn't mind trying it since it appears to be more accurate & a better source of information than our leading experts!

He answered so many of my questions regarding "The Alien Agenda". What we need now is "The Government Agenda" written from a very credible source admitting the Government cannot protect us from the aliens. That would be perfect!

Summary: Yes, the moon does rotate!!
Review: It was a great read, but the science is faulty. According to my high school physics teacher and a geophysicist I know at the Univ. of Alaska, the moon does rotate around its axis, just like the earth. I wish all of these ufo experts would get that right, it makes them all look like fools.

Summary: Couldn't put this one down.
Review: I am greatly impressed with the Mr. Marrs' book because it addresses, quite adequately, the question: how/why the media has so successfully and steadfastly ignored/dismissed/ridiculed the whole UFO issue since its modern inception in 1947. The answer comes down to the simple elements of money, power, control and manipulation. The book is more a history tome than a traditional UFO book. Any American who reads it will have his/her eyes opened wide. Mr. Marrs tackles the interesting question of conspiracy theories head-on, rationally, and quite successfully. For a thrilling fiction ride on the same subject, check out Alien Rapture by Author Brad Steiger.

Summary: A well-researched treatment
Review: One must keep in mind that in 'Crossfire', his bestseller that became the basis for Oliver Stone's 'JFK', Jim Marr took a good many liberties. While he does stretch a few things in 'Alien Agenda', he has nonetheless delivered a reasonably well-researched book.

He's provided a good historical review, as well as a complete treatment of contemporary high profile cases: Roswell, Bentwaters, the Hills, Travis Walton are explained in a succinct and compelling manner. A good starting place for the casual reader of UFO books.

Why only 3 stars? Three reasons: [1] A good attempt to present both sides of the argument, but weak on hard evidence. [2] Marrs waivers from the main subject matter, stretching Fortean-like into unrelated phenomena like the Wee Folk (the reader gets the impression that the book might have fallen short of its 400 pages without these little forays). [3] The thesis presented in his final chapter is an uncovincing stretch, leading one to wonder if he stayed up a wee bit too late finishing it.

These criticisms aside, 'Alien Agenda' should prove an interesting read.

Summary: Hey even if its not true it makes for 1 hell of a story!
Review: I admit to having a long time fascination with the topics of ufo's, ever since my childhood (My parents never did beleive me bout the little man at my window). I found the theories put forth by Marrs as being highly plausible, not to mention unsettling. I liked the way in which he mannaged to cover so much ground, tying together so many threads, into one all encompasing conspiracy. Once I started reading I couldnt put this one down, maybe somehow hoping for a happy ending that would make me sleep at night, but no, this is one to make you wonder about what is really going on in this world. Even if you dont beleive it makes for one hell of a story! Enjoy

Summary: Very Good, Except......
Review: I thought it was a very good book with many good chapters like the Spaceship Moon chapter. I just didn't like the opinion that aliens created us, and for slave labor! Other than that I thought it was a very well researched book with many intruiging theorys.

Summary: Excellent, all issues backed by facts.
Review: This was a fascinating book. It covered many areas that I was unfamiliar with. For example, theories about the moon and it's relationship to UFOs.

Also, this book covered Remote Viewing and work the U.S. did in the 70s, and the 80s with remote viewing.

I hope this author writes more books on this subject. I will definately purchase any upcoming books by Jim Marrs.

Summary: If you only read one book on this subject, make it this one.
Review: Marrs offers readers the gift of an objective, comprehensive overview of several related phenomena. From Van Daanikin to alien abductions, each topic is examined with clarity and a wealth of detail and arcana. This can be a life changing book. I have given copies to friends with the inner resources to handle its devastating knowledge and appreciate its message of hope. A wonderful gift - don't miss it! Merry Christmas and God Bless us - every one.

Summary: Worth reading
Review: The best parts of this book are the chapters relating to remote viewing. There seems to be some discrepency over who started it all, at least he doesn't mention L. Ron Hubbard... I happen to think that the "cylinders" are remote controlled, gov't aircraft but according to the author they are the real deal... This book would be great in the bathroom, so throw out Kahlil Gibran and enjoy!
