Summary: Simply great!
Review: This book is WONDERFUL for someone wanting to learn about Wicca, and doesn't have any other Wiccans around them. Scott Cunningham is an excellent author, and this book proves it. highly recommend this to any newcomer to the world of Wicca.

Summary: A great place to start your search
Review: Finding this book was probably one of the most profound turning points of my life. All my life I knew I was missing something. That I was only getting a small piece of the puzzle. I had been searching for a little more clarity. Then one day I picked up this book. A whole new world opened up. A new consciousness. I knew I had found my path. I owe a great deal to Scott Cunningham. He opened my eyes and my mind truly for the first time.
If you are new to the religion (as most of us are), want to expand or just want information, this is the book to get you started. You will find that although magick is part of the book, it focuses more on the spiritual aspects of the religion. I keep refering back time and time again.
I liked this book so much, I have collected the rest of Cunningham's books.

Summary: A great book
Review: this book gives the basics of wicca, by someone who knows what he is talking about. I read it cover to cover, and I have done so many times since I've had it. Definetly reccomended.

Summary: no hope
Review: i bought this book to get understanding and to try and figure out why wicca is growing and spreding faster than Christianity in our area. i still do not know why. after reading the book i saw how unorganized and everything the religion is. it offers no hope to those who believe and certainly there is no "power to be obtained"... i found the book not only uninteresting, but probably the most misleading of any i have read so far.

Summary: The Solitary Wiccan's Bible
Review: This book is what ALL pagans should read!!! Not only does Scott Cunningham make becoming a Wiccan easy, but he does it in a very simple but lively way. I have referred to this book for everything from sabbat info to ideas for symbology for spells. Please, Please, Please read this book from cover to cover and then do it again. This may have been the first book I ever bought on Wicca, and I still have it on the top shelf of my book shelf, right where I can see it! If you have no books or (in my case) you have a library, either way, WICCA by SCOTT CUNNINGHAM is one book you shouldn't be without. *Love & Light*

Summary: A fresh start
Review: This is a great book. It showed me many things and also made me want to study more! As a recovering catholic it's great to find teachings that allow you to really participate in something rather than just being a passenger. Thanks Scott
for opening my eyes.

Summary: Excellant Book!
Review: This is THE BOOK for understanding and practicing Wicca! A must for any new or experienced Wiccan!

Summary: Wicca by Scott Cunningham
Review: Great book to start with. It doesn't dumb down the practice and hasn't sold out to Hollywood either. Anyone interested in Wicca or pagan practice should own this book.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: A good start!
Review: For anyone looking for an overview of what Wicca can offer, this is a good book. If you're already a bit experienced, this book probably won't give you anymore information than you already know. The Book of Shadows that Cunningham includes is a very good starting point for a novice, and leaves a lot of room for expansion and modification of the rituals.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Good Book for first time buyers
Review: Although one of the best beginners books on Wicca, you may not need to purchase it. If you have bought any of Llewellyn's beginners books such as Raymond Buckland's "Bucklands Complete Book of Witchcraft", or Silver RavenWolf's "To ride a Silver Broomstick" or any such book, then this would not do much to further your knowledge. Llewellyn has a tendency to re-publish the same information in most of its beginners books. You will find basic ritual constructions and each persons take on the sabats or pagan holidays and a very basic and general view on Wiccan beliefs. If this will be your first book on Wicca, then I highly recommend it, if not, you probably already have 90% of what is in this book elsewhere...

Blessed Be!
~Shadow~
