Summary: Give him a try!
Review: He couldn't be as bad as Bush! And Bush doesn't even have a record.

Summary: Why would you vote for this man?
Review: Honestly, why would you vote for this man? His book details general ideas with no specific plans. This is not unusual for J.Kerry who has no stance on Iraq whatsoever! He will give you a round-about answer with no direction. Do we really want someone like this to be running our country. Futhermore, if you have read other books such as Band of Brothers and Flags of Our Fathers you will know that true heroes do not brag about their war achievements. Can we stop living in the past? What have you done for us lately? If he gets in it will be like another Jimmy Carter in which nothing was accomplished. Be warned now! Vote GW Bush in November!

Summary: Highly Disappointing
Review: I bought this book hoping to find out who the real John Kerry is instead one is unable to know who the real John Kerry is.

Two things occur after reading this book. The first is how truely arrogant he sounds. Second, glaring inconsistencies appear in relation to his service. In this book there is one account on his recent interviews on programs such as Meet the Press and Good Morning America another account.

Summary: A politic writing why not!
Review: I did not read 1 millions books but I am trying hard and I think to be at least at 20000, so politics writers are in danger with me but Kerry can write about public medical assistance really, that part will remain , he could loose any presidential race, also his senatorial seats, I dont care: when he writes about medical assistance I like to read him!

Summary: Another uber-liberal liar at his worst
Review: I had the great misfortune to flip through the start of this book and found it filled with lies, distortions and nothing more than the socialist approach to the world. Why anyone would insist that Kerry is intelligent after a C- college record and an IQ lower than that of Mr. Bush is beyond me. Mr. Kerry might as well admit he is little more than a ventriloquist's dummy sitting on Kennedy's lap, spouting the uber-liberal party line disguised as thinking. Save your money.

Summary: John Kerry will become the Democrat Nominee BUT......
Review: I like John Kerry. And I like him a lot better than the other democrats running for the Democratic ticket to go after George Bush, particuarly the loud and incompetent Howard Dean and the Gomer Pyle-like Wesley Clarke. But what I don't like is the allegations he is making without facts.

For example, Pres. Bush was honorably discharged..he was never AWOL. And Bush never was behind nor even knew Kerry in college. In this regard, Kerry is acting like Al Gore and that is something the democrats do not need.

I was very, very impressed with Kerry up to his Iowa win and was excited to see him defeat the other democrats, although they were not much competition for him. I am just concerned that perhaps Mr. Kerry is losing sense of his values with his victories. Not only is that what we don't need, but it will make Kerry easy dogmeat for the Prez during debates.

America needs a change. We need Kerry...the Kerry we had before Iowa. The current Kerry is like a cross between Howand Dean and AL Gore. No thank you!

Summary: Kerry is a much better choice than Dean or Gore
Review: I like John Kerry. Aside from being a legitimate war hero (unlike Mr. Clarke), he is also articulate and has that JFK look about him. He is no pushover either. He won't back off and he won't sprout like a loose canon off ala Al Gore did yesterday or Howard Dean did after Iowa.

Kerry could very well be the man to bring respectability and life back to the dying democratic party. The only question now is...is he for real or will he be just a typical democrat?

Summary: The DNC's 2nd Choice Canidate
Review: I must admit while I was having fun listening to Howard Dean's speeches because I agreed with him a lot, at leased he was consistant and didn't flip-flop on his ideas. I honestly don't know where Kerry stands on the issues because he has flip flopped over everything! I wish Dean was still the nominee because at leased we had a clear choice for canidate! And the sad part is, Kerry wasn't the DNC's top nomination. Dean was. And I can't believe it's too late. This unfortuntately spells re-election for Dubya. The Democrats are doomed. from an Independent.

Summary: We Should Have Run Jabanoski Instead!
Review: I respect you incredibly, Mr. Kerry. I respect your bravery in Vietnam, your bravery in protesting the war once you came home, and your admirable political career. I bought this book, which is full of wonderful ideas, volunteered and worked for your campaign against the Bush evil that has taken over America, but you never called Bush what he really is, a mass murderer. The only thing I can't forgive you for is having voted for this war.

Read Bill Jabanoski's Scarecrow, particularly the parts about Iraqi parents trying to find their children under piles of corpses in the morgue in Baghdad or when his friend, a young forgotten soldier is killed. Jabanoski, as far back as 2002, was warning us about the devil and his demons that Bush wanted to let run wild in the Middle East and how we should resist starting this damned war in Iraq, at about the same time you were voting to give Bush the power to wage it. With all due respect, maybe we should have run him for President instead.

Summary: The Quiet Man With Good Solutions Not A Vanity Candidate!
Review: I say you can define a man or woman by the words they choose to form their literary expressions. The best leaders are the most effective with the hearers to whom they are addressing band together to seek common goals to help the many with the chosen few.

This book is proof John Kerry is one of those special candidates cut from the cloth of serious politics to cause serious changes in the common lives of each citizen.

Senator Kerry is a slow talker reflecting his thoughts carefully so he can be accurate on listening to solutions and then forming a consensus to reach goals, our nation needs at this time. John Kerry is such a "Quiet Man with a big punch!"

I found his ideas around education innovative and insightful. I feel he could use his influence with the Teacher Unions to bring real reform to our schools. He advocates the need for accountability from student to parents, parents to teachers, teachers to students.

Some of best ideas to help the masses came from Unions asking ideas from their membership. John Kerry can bring this together so America's future is brighter tomorrow due to well-educated children. I would love to see a two-shift school day whereby our taxes go directly to students and teachers not facilities to house everyone all at once to employ janitors.

John Kerry has his work cut for him as a presidential candidate, senator, and party leader. His first work must be the reformation of Democratic leadership if he expects to achieve his goals as written in this book.

The bottom line is Democrats with only the presidency can no longer change anything. Surely such a strange inconvenient unnatural tradition of being out of power is not likely to have been invented but is based on facts. And if so the events associated with that loss of traditional Democratic power must take place today to secure the Democratic Party for tomorrow.

However, I do not agree with what I read on Kerry's energy plan that is Pro-Caribou and Anti-Coalminer. The Democratic senator makes a grave mistake if he thinks defending Artic Deserts for Caribou over America energy need is a worthy goal. America needs to wean us from "the wrong energy programs that ignore the right energy sources controlled by the wrong people until we can perfect cleaner ones for everybody.

I find it like trying to preserve stagecoach jobs after the train and automobile was invented. Looking to replace oil, coal and gas is just fine but until you do, why not drill, mine and find what we need in the meantime? Russia has much of it, why not help them find it and sell it to us?

And please Gun Control has no basis in our nation at this time. All it does is divide Democrats, there is no way to remove over 90 million guns on the streets and many more fair-minded people feel safer with guns than without them.

I came way from this book knowing John Kerry is prepared to be a good President because he is already a good senator and always tries to improve being just a thoughtful citizen. He is not a vanity candidate but one of substance with solutions. The book outlines a few too!
