Rating: Summary: Vivid View of HELL. Review: This book intriqued me; not because it revealed a revelation that any christian is not aware of...but because the author was unique in her way of painting the crystal clear picture of Hell in a way that I had never seen before. At times the book seemed a bit repetituous, but I understand the objective, which is to save souls before it is too late. The author takes the reader on a journey into Hell where we meet residents in Hell like the hard hearted cancer patient, backslidden Preacher, Whoremongers, Church goers living a double life and those that practiced Witchcraft. We are reminded that lust and desires of the world are only for a season, but Heaven is for eternity. Repent and forgive while you have life on earth. I highly recommend this book and it is a quick read.
Rating: Summary: A Powerful Book!!! Review: This book changed my life. As I started reading, I thought "maybe this isn't true, Jesus didn't really take her on a tour through hell". But that was satan putting thoughts in my head. I have read the other reviews and I am sad because there are people that actually think Mary Baxter was led into hell by satan. Does that make any sense?? Why would satan reveal the horrible conditions of hell to anyone?? Through out the book she pleads with everyone to repent. Matthew 12:26 "If Satan casts out Satan , he is divided against himself. How then will his kingdom stand?. When a book is bringing people to God, you know its from God. The enemy wants you to think Mary K Baxter is a fake, a false prophet. You have a choice, you can either spend eternity in the smoking or non-smoking section. Please repent!! Jesus is Lord!
Rating: Summary: A Scare for Sinners Review: Mary Katherine Baxter experienced and survived something phenomenal and not humanly possible, which we will not see until the end of our time. In A Divine Revelation of Hell, the Lord Jesus Christ chose Mary to tell the world of the realities and horrors of Hell. Her testimony made me drop to my knees and beg Jesus for forgivness. Jesus Christ appeared to Mary on fourty consecutive nights and took her on a tour throughout all the parts of Hell. She walked with Jesus through the horrors of Hell and talked with many condemned souls. Jesus Christ showed Mary what happened to the unbelievers, unforgiven, the servants of the Devil, and the servants of God who did not abide my their calling. He showed her the pits of Hell where the soul burns in fire for eternity. Jesus also told Mary of the Rapture and the end of the world. From her vivid descriptions one can see, smell, and feel Hell. Instead of helping a person seek forgiveness, these vivid descriptions might scare them into accepting Christ. One way or another, one will want to seek some sort of salvation and redemption in the Lord himself. Many do not realize we are determining our future eternal lives at this very second. I highly recommend this book for any person who wants to know the truth about the afterlife. It is an extremely easy read with clear descriptions and a minimal use of extensive vocabulary. I would not recommend this book fot the faint hearted or those who do not believe in miracles. Jesus designated Mary Baxter to tell about this appaling and unspeakable place called Hell. I believe she acomplished her objective to its fullest potential.
Rating: Summary: Thank You, Jesus!!! Review: I honestly feel that Mrs. Mary K. Baxter was truly inspired by the spirit of God. Just as there were prophets in Jesus' days, there are many here on earth today guided by the Holy Spirit. I feel so sorry for people who do not believe, but feel even worst for those who don't believe and refuse to inquire more. It's a terrible thing to close your heart from the love and protection He can give to you.We all fall short of the glory of God, but through His grace and mercy, we're all saved! Just believe and have faith! John 3:16 explains it all. May God Bless. This book explores areas of hell that are just devestating, but it's real! In line with the Scipture every step of the way. Great book that's easy to read.
Rating: Summary: will change your life Review: This book is very vivid, even if you believe 10 to 20 percent of it, it will change your life or someone you love for the better.
Rating: Summary: Gripping from beginning to end...will make you think! Review: This book is absolutely awesome ! The descriptions of Hell given by Mary Baxter during her escort there by Jesus Christ are chilling and must not be ignored. No doubt there will be many who will cast doubt and credibility on Mary Baxter's accounts, but the descriptions and accounts of the author are to the best of my knowledge & experience all Biblically sound. This book is extremely well written, clear and easy to read. I got through it in a day. Every page read makes you eager to get on to the next one. The contents do not make you comfortable, they are not meant to. They are no doubt meant to break you free from your complacency and unbelief and to study the message here in accordance with God's Word. To the scoffers out there, please do just that. Do not take Mary Baxter's word at face value; read the book and then weigh it up against Holy Scripture yourself. You really owe it to yourself to do this. If you turn away from this message and it turns out to be true, even partly true, then you only have yourself to blame. The author's visions provided by Jesus of the approaching end-times are also shocking to behold. They too are in parallel with Scripture. The detail included in the descriptions of Hell and the manner in which individuals are suffering there will blow your mind. It is one place you do not want to end up. The fundamental theme throughout this book is 'repent and believe the gospel'. Fundamentally the same as that throughout the New Testament. Highly recommended!!!
Rating: Summary: Simple-minded Review: Simple writing styles generally indicate simple-minded people, and these are the people who generally give "birth" to these "Divine Revelations." Thomas Paine said it best. "A Revelation is only a revelation to the person who receives it. To everyone else it is hearsay, and nobody is obligated to believe hearsay." This goes for the "Bible" or any other "Holy writing" that supposedly comes from "Revelation." Unbelief is not a sin. A person doesn't "choose" what he will or will not believe, and it's preposterous to believe God would send "anyone" including Buddhists, Hindus, etc. to some fiery pit for choosing not to believe a religion that is basically absurd in its beliefs. Suppose I told Ms. Baxter that a divine angel appeared to me and told me that she was going to burn in hell if she did not support a belief in the Koran. Every Islamic person alive would "feel" the truth of that in their hearts, the same as Christians "feel" the truth of what Ms. Baxter says about her religious beliefs. Feelings do not make truth. Ms. Baxter makes God look very ugly indeed!
Rating: Summary: THIS IS A POWERFUL BOOK! Review: This is one amazing book directly from the Lord Himself. God is not limited - He can do anything He pleases - and He chose to visit Mary K Baxter to take her to hell - and back. I have a strong witness from the Holy Spirit to this book - that this is a true and divine revelation from the Lord - it is totally in line with Scripture - anyone who says God told them otherwise is a liar and decieved. This is a true revelation - get it! It will change your life - ask God to confirm that it is true - it is! This book will revolutionise your walk with God! Jesus is God! The Father is God! The Holy Spirit is God! And the Lord will return soon - are you ready? God is great! Praise the name of Jesus!
Rating: Summary: Hell Is real Review: I read this book the first week I got saved and oh my God it blew my mind. It broke down the parts of hell as if they where a human body. If you are not saved it will should scare the hell(literly) out of you, and educate you on hell.
Rating: Summary: Food for Thought Review: For those of you who say this book is not of God, maybe the truth is that you know that it is true and cannot accept it. Maybe that is because you prefer to live by comfortable rules, etc. God never said following him would always be comfortable. I find this book to be a reminder of all the things God promises to those who choose not to follow Him, and also for those who choose Him, choose life. For those of you who are not sure, at least read the book and then make your own decision. Baxter tells you in the beginning of the book to balance what you are reading with scripture (scripture references are in the back of the book) and the leading of the Holy Spirit. She never claimed to see God...only that God showed her things she was to share with all of us. I hope you will choose to read this book, and choose life through Jesus Christ.
