Summary: Humor,Not Boring
Review: Bud,Not Buddy is a great book for anyone who likes a humorous book along with a wonderful plot. The book tells the story of a boy named Bud,(not Buddy),on his journey to find his father. Along the way, he experiences many funny events. One time he got his hand caught in a fish-head ornament on a door and thought his hand was going to be eaten off. I would compare this book to Harry Potter books because they also tell the story of a boy going through many different things, and it is also hard to put down. I loved this book because of the humor.

Summary: Bud' Not Buddy
Review: This book was about, Bud who wanted to find his father Herman.E Calloway. He was looking for his father because he had no place to go. He was kicked out of the Amoses because he was being a brat. He was not being a brat the Amoses were mean to him. That is why he is looking for his father.

My favorite part was when Bud Put Tod's finger in the water to make him have a wet bed. It was so funny I was laughing so hard I almost cried. That was my favorite part because it was so funny. It was one of the only funny parts in the book. That was one of my favorite parts.

I like this book because it has a lot of action in it. It puts you on egde of your seat. It really catches someones eye. Like for example, Todd having a wet bed. That had a lot of attention to it. This is the reason why I like this Kind of book.

Summary: B/R-English-Mrs.Shea-Per.1
Review: The book "Bud, Not Buddy" is about an orphan boy named Buddy Caldwell. Buddy never liked his name, so he always wanted to be called Bud, Bud Caldwell. Bud lived in an orphanage since he was six, because at that age his mother passed away. The main story is about Bud Caldwell trying to find the place that was on a particular flyer. This flyer was givin to him from his mother before she passed away. He knew that it ment a lot to her, so he had to try and find out what it was that was so important about it.

I have enjoyed reading this book a lot. I loved it so much because I liked reading about what goes on in the life of Buddy Caldwell. Just the way he describes everything is hilarious. He always compares what he's talking about to something that is weird and funny. Also, I loved all the stories he told about him from the past, like the story about the bug going into his friends ear. Reading this book has kept me motivated to read on because it is hilarious.

Summary: this review is written from the charecters piont of view
Review: Shucks you guys picked the right book! My name is Bud (not Buddy). This is my story. I started out living with my mom but when I was six she kicked the bucket. I was sent to the local orphanage called "the Home". It was getting crowded and I really didn't like it there. I was sent to many different foster homes but I was always treated cruelly. So finally, I had had enough of foster care. And I can guarentee you that if you pick up this book then...woop, zoop, sloop...you'll be finished 'cause it's so good!

Summary: Bud Not Buddy
Review: Can you imagine growing up without your mother and not knowing who your real father was? Bud Not Buddy is a book a about a young boy who has no parents and is still in search of his father. Bud adventures across the state meeting new and peculiar people while in search for the man who he believes to be his father. Bud Not Buddy keeps you entertained with all the drama that this young child is going through.
This book is very descriptive and gives great detail about the places and people Bud visits. Bud Not Buddy presents itself with real life examples and enough description so that you're able to picture what Bud is seeing. As evidence, "The cooler was drenched with bags of blood and blood stained ice,". A book like this puts you right in Bud's shoes.
Bud Not Buddy targets audiences of all ages, from teens to young adults. The entire book has easy and understandable words keeping you from stumbling. Bud goes through tough times, so this storyline is appropiate for mature teens and young adults. The amount of emotion in this book might be too much for younger kids. For example, "My mom died when I was little" this might be something to overwhelming for younger children to imagine. Teens and young adults will understand and enjoy this book.
Emotion is shown throughout this book. In the beginning of the book you're sad because you find out what Bud is living through and in the end the whole mood of the story changes to a much happier mood. Seeing Bud fight and strive towards his goal is what makes Bud Not Buddy a motivational book.
Bud's determination to find his beloved lost father moves you as you read about his effort and perserverance.

Summary: The Most Boring Book Ever
Review: This book is about an orphan boy who lives in a foster home because he is an orphan. He is searching for his unknown father beacuse his foster family doesnt take good care of him.
In my opinion, Bud, Not Buddy is a boring book. I read it only beacuse my 7th grade teacher made me read it for a Book Review.
So, if you want to read it, you go ahead. It gets more better near the end.
