Summary: Sublime read!
Review: Jeremy's accessible dissertations on the techno-sublime are just a click away. He follows the evolution of the "S" word through Longinus, Burke, Kant, Lyotard, Newman and updates it to his own view today where the most sublime moments happen in super-saturated images on TV. Nothing alienating about this California style scholarly text, I enjoyed it and learned a lot. Five stars! Why should aesthetics and scholarship be boring?
