Review: I love the protagonist of this book. Valerie Atha is a private investigator from Canada, who happens to be a beauteous Indian solving a casino-related murder in the city of Detroit, Michigan during a hot Indian summer. She is sexy, chic and dresses with the best of them. She stops at nothing to find the killer of a Detroit casino czar's young daughter, whose fiance is charged for the crime. A must read for all mystery, whodunnit and gumshoe fans.
