Summary: High Tech Intrigue!
Review: Fascinating. It takes the reader deep into the power of economic/computer warfare. The insights into our growing troubles with China are profound. Plus, this book demonstrates the ultimate revenge possible by small computer companies against big computer companies.

Summary: The Year of the Tiger by Elvet Moore
Review: I thought it was a great plot and that's what kept me reading the book. Two things, however, nearly drove me to distraction. First, I felt as if the author changed the writing style on his pc from "casual or standard" to "formal." The sentences were very proper in "King's English" (I did not vs. I didn't, etc.) and real people don't talk that way in this day and age. Consequently, many of the conversations in the book seemed stilted to me. The second thing was the author's constant use of the exclamation mark. It was used far too much, it was distracting, and it lost its value very soon. I actually got to the point where I started counting them! If the author can come up with another dynamite plot, relax his style of writing, and use exclamation points as they should be used, he could be successful.

Summary: Excellent, High Tech Thriller
Review: The Year of the Tiger is a high tech version of a Grissom thriller. It has a very plausible storyline regarding what would happen if computers worldwide started to slow down. It was a good page turner and is highly recommended.
