Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Jack Royce delivers an envigorating and suspenseful epic!
Review: Dressed to Murder ranks, as a thriller, with a contemporary classic like Silence of the Lambs. Written by a man who knows the location of his story just as well as Michner did when writing his books.

The action of the thriller takes place mostly in Japan. The protagonist, an American, is art thief who has both police and other forces chasing him. Royce includes flash backs into the past of our anti-hero to his college days in Chicago.

Mr. Royce is an obvious fan of Kubuki because it is an essential element to the plot. Anymore telling on that end would give too much away.

My main problems with the book were odd choices of character develop regarding central characters. His amusing epilogue would cofuse those who have not read his previous novels. Thereby receiving four stars.

All in all, a fun book by a writer who has lived a full life.
