Rating: Summary: Terrific! Review: Final Arrangements is one terrific novel that grabs you from page one and doesn't let go until the very last sentence. A gruesome murder is our introduction to a small town where Roberta Coleman Crosby lives. The choices Roberta has made in her life were dictated by tragic events, and now in her middle-age, she has come to the realization that while there may be regrets, she knows she can always count on the love of her son, Liam, and her very best friend, Eva. What Roberta doesn't know, is that she and Eva are closer to the murderer than they could ever imagine.Sheila Darragh takes us on a journey from Roberta's present, to her past, and back again. The relationships in this novel are fascinating, and Darragh has quite the flair for vivid descriptions, rich dialogue, and taut suspense. The plot is intriguing, the characters memorable, the writing crisp and clean. I was so enthralled with the story, I read it in one sitting. If the book was ice cream, I'd have gained ten pounds.
