Rating: Summary: A Statement From The Author Review: I do not know why the reviewer identified as Dr. Wenton chooses to malign this book. To all potential readers the posted book synopsis is an example of the writer's style and skill. This author does not expect that all who read the book will like it. I can assure you though that it is a well written book.
Rating: Summary: Family Jewels Review: Now that winter is almost upon us, make yourself a cup of hot chocolate, make sure the doors are secured and read Family Jewels. You'll meet a very capable police officer, Brenda Helper, who makes one wonder if she emulates the author, TY Green...a retired law enforcer. Exactly how did Michael Inez, a jeweler, die? Did his sister play a role in his demise? Was it of natural causes? That's how it appeared before the very able team of Brenda, Alvarez, and Lawrence become embroiled in the investigation. It is then that they discover that there are numerous other crimes similar to this particular case. They find this out by keeping on top of their other numerous calls, which linked Inez's death to others. They are in the throes of a network of crime within the city of Baltimore, but solve them with their good police work. But who did the murders? And why? You won't expect the ending. The expertise of Ms. Green is evident throughout this novel. Pick it up and I dare you to put it down. Keep them coming. Will we see more of Brenda? I, for one, hope so.
Rating: Summary: FAMILY JEWELS Review: This tale could have been improved if someone had taken the time to edit. Nevertheless, in it's present state, the reader will grow tire quickly. I take it this is the author's first book from the overwhelming spelling errors, the run-on sentences, the sentence fragments, and poor sentence structure. And although she tries to tell an interesting story, the tale was too convoluting.
