Zebra in the Water

Summary: Fun read
Review: Ms. Betancourt has written a great book to bring to the beach. Even though I live in Virginia, I could almost hear the police sirens, feel the heat of the street, and taste the bialys of the Brooklyn neighborhood. Diana and her daughter Caroline reminded me of people I like to be around and could call my friends.

The story kept me on edge as Diana and Ruby tried to figure out their connection to the murders. Like Sue Grafton's alphabetical mystery books, I hope that Zebra in the Water is the first of the Diana series starting with the alphabet in reverse. It's a great summer read, and no beach bag should be without it.
