Summary: Very Disappointed
Review: I met the author at a book fair in Harlem and was charmed by her enthusiasm. I read Web of Deception and am so disappointed. The writing was so bad it made me laugh out loud. The main character is suppose to be so smart and sophisticated that, at age 26, she is a top journalist in the #1 market, but is so naive and immature that she lives with relatives because she doesn't have the willpower to save enough money to get an apartment. The plot is incredulous - not even remotely feasible. The characters trite. Overall, a big mistake.

Summary: Cannot put the book down!!!!
Review: I was captivated from the first page. The details of NY and Chicago made me feel as though I was there. This whodunnit was peppered with a delicious love story which was well told and entertaining. Check it out for yourself. You won't be able to put the book down.

Summary: Breath taking
Review: Web of Deception was truly breath taking. I have the pleasure of knowing La joyce personally, and I must say that she is truly gifted with the talent of writing. I could not put Web of Deception down. From Author to Author keep on kicking out those good stories & we'll see each other at our movie premier's. God Bless You Sister!
