Review: There are a lot of well informed and excellent novels, both fiction and non-ficton,concerning Colombia and the drug tracking that is part of the social reality of those who struggle to live in there and make it their home. This ill conceived and poorly written book isn't one of them. From the very outset the author's imagination fails to grapple with what could be a serious treatment of issues of real consequence. I would not suggest this novel to anyone who is looking for a book that has been written well.
