Rating: 5 stars
Summary: simple review
Review: This book's European setting combines mystery and "Rosmund Piltcher" style nostalgia. You find yourself involved in Dr. Samantha Ryan's personal life as well as the case she trys to solve. The Spider's Web turns and twist to keep you interested and just when you think you've figured it out, something else happens and you must keep digging.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: It was okay

Review: This was as good a way as any to pass the time, but wasn't anything to write home about. There were some bizarre errors in the book - 'passed' instead of 'past', no capitals at the beginning of a sentence etc. The most strange is right at the end where I believe they have substituited 'kived' for 'loved'. You would have thought these would have been corrected before the book was published.
It took me a while to get into the book, but once I did I enjoyed it. The way they talk about the internet & computer equipment is obviously quite dated - surprising considering the book was printed in the late 1990s. I also found the ending unsatisfying, but that's just me.
