Rating: Summary: Blue Laser sheds light on bright new author Review: After exhausting the likes of Clancy and Cornwell I've been looking for something new. I think I've found it.This first book by Mr. Leavitt absolutely rocks! He has pulled off something that is very difficult to do well, write a complex technological thriller that keeps you turning pages through the night. As a first book it shows a few rough edges here and there, but if you like solid characters, tight pacing, informative and believable technology you're going to like this book. I believe we'll be seeing (and hearing) more about and from this new Author and some exciting adventures ahead for one Reed Manosh. I, personally, look forward to the follow-up.
Rating: Summary: De-light-ful! Review: Blue Laser has everything a rip-roaring novel needs: a believable storyline, vivid characters, and a rollicking pace. Kris Leavitt's direct style showcases a great ear for dialog. People really do think, act, and speak this way. The technology descriptions are simple, yet allow the reader to draw sophisticated conclusions. I was left wondering, "Why can't this be done?" I hope there's a sequel close behind - I can't wait to find out what the Manoshes are up to next!
Rating: Summary: Fact or Fiction Review: Entertaining, factual and quite believable. A page turner that makes you wonder if Mr. Leavitt is giving us a glimpse of the future. He strings a tale with well developed characters and meticulous detail. I hope there's more to follow.
Rating: Summary: A Glimpse Into The Future Review: Leavitt is a true visionary. He is a meticulous researcher and a talented writer who captures you from beginning to end. A suspenseful novel that makes you wonder the possibilities. A must read!
