Summary: Evil doings Down Under
Review: Quick, name an Australian mystery. OK, maybe you could name one or two, but I bet you wouldn't name this one.

Aunt Alice's annual apple harvest (did you know they grew apples in Australia? I didn't) is not the usual fun and games. In fact, the atmosphere is fairly poisonous. But not as poisonous as the apples that apparently killed Damien, estranged husband of Alice's great-niece Anna. Everyone who helps at harvest time is supposed to be one big happy family. So why do they all seem to hate each other? And who was Damien really talking to the night before he died?

I enjoyed this mystery and would love to read more in this series. It's well-written and the characters are good. My only complaint is that in some places (especially the end) it tends to drag a little bit. But I recommend it anyway.
