Review: Letty Campbell, a chicken farmer in England, sells part of her property to a woman from Texas who's establishing a health resort. Letty's mother, newly engaged, has been receiving mysterious phone calls, which may be from her husband-to-be's estranged daughter. When Letty's car is driven off the road, she can't help but think she's targeted, but by whom? Is it connected to a local escaped convict, or to the health club next door? Letty would much rather spend time with her new girlfriend, than get involved in yet another mystery, but she finds that sometimes there's no choice. It's a thrilling and exciting mystery from an author who deserves more attention here in the U.S.
