Summary: I really enjoyed this book. A fun read.
Review: A fun read and thriller - the legal aspects were accurate (for a change) and exciting. For a first book, very good. I hope he'll write more

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: The author is not conflicted
Review: I had the good fortune to recently attend a professional development seminar hosted by the author of this book. He is a Florida judge and I was recently admitted to the Florida bar. It was at the seminar that I heard about the book, and having met the judge, thought I would get the book. I am glad I did.

The book is more than legally accurate, it is a great story, and it shows insight into the pressures on a lawyer trying his best to achieve justice for his client, even if this lawyer has some agenda that he is trying to keep hidden from the public and his family. It was a lot of fun to read, for myself as a lawyer and for my wife (who is not). It is a great summer book (and maybe for the winter as well, since the hot Florida climate comes through in the writing.)

Summary: A good beginning.
Review: I just finished reading this fantastic book for the third time and will read it again soon! The best I have read yet describing Tallahassee scenes to a "T"...having lived there many years ago, made me a bit "homesick!" Knew of many places Lewis described in his book - glad to see that some things haven't changed in this great City of Florida! The characters are interwoven in the suspense story that keeps you on the edge of your seat throughout the book and the ending is blockbuster material! A first book by a true Florida native and this reader has high hopes that it won't be his last!

Summary: A good beginning.
Review: Lewis writes in a tight, clinical style which has trouble breathing. But he still tells an interesting story. The book is well worth reading. It is too bad Lewis hasn't yet received much deserved notice from mystery lovers.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Author is judge in pivotal Florida recount ruling!
Review: Today's ruling should help sell a few books!
