Rating: Summary: Wow! What A Page Turner! Review: From the very start of this book Mr. Waltz keeps the reader reading. The suspense is great, and has alot of elements that help keep you the reader interested. Mr. Waltz is a resident to Michigan, and I am as well. Reading this book, and the references to places, roads, radio stations etc. made me feel at home. This is a great book if somebody enjoys mystery suspense novels. It's a page turner form the beggining to the end. I guarantee you will not be dissapointed!
Rating: Summary: Great First Work Review: I'll tell you from the start -- I'm a close friend of the author, so there's some bias there. But, other than that, I thought this was a great first book and there's plenty of potential here for more good times down the road with his following books.I don't usually read a lot of mysteries, so this took me a little out of my typical reading genre, but I enjoyed it. It was a "page-turner" as the editorial review said and kept me always interested and engaged. I finished the book in one sitting -- to me that's a good thing. It's neither too long, nor too short. Another plus was it's location -- I'm from Michigan and the book is set in Michigan. There were plenty of references to things I knew and loved. The scenes in Washington and California were also enjoyable and the book demonstrated the author's familiarity with the regions. This is Mr. Law's first published work, and as such, there are always places to go. Some editing work created confusion with the introduction of the main FBI agent involved, (...). I eagerly am anticipating the arrival of his second book -- The Deadly Dilletante. I hope you are too!
