Summary: Sure To Entertain
Review: The StarSight Project is a well-balanced account of a hand full of scientists and the adventures they undergo as they suddenly part with familiar territory and plunge into a world where dreadful decisions must be made promptly and correctly. The author has presented a readable text, and in doing so, he has kept the reader turning pages as his or her curiosity grows in many directions. The balance occurs between the characters, their personal and professional conflicts, and the technical leaps the StarSight Project must take in order to protect those who are merely living out their ordinary lives unaware of the devastating tragedy to come. The balance deepens as the author makes it easy for the reader to understand some technical information necessary for the story's realism. This aspect of the StarSight Project is its nicest indeed. For it allows the readers to contemplate many sides of the story thoroughly. In general, the plot is intricate, the characters dynamic, and all seeds come to full blossom. When the reader reaches the end of the book, he or she will find the characters familiar; some will be hard to pass judgement on, and some will not. A few seeds are left planted in the books last pages, and this leaves the reader wishing a sequel were already in print.
