Review: This fast paced story combines adventure, mystery, travel, politics, economics into a fascinating plot filled with interesting characters. Black Charlie who serves as an erratic guide in the maze in which the hero is trapped is both amusing, sad, and insightful. Although this book is easy to read and can be finished in one enjoyable session, its insights, scenes, dialogues, and ideas will continue to resonate for a long time. I look forward to Mr. King's next novels with great anticipation.
