Rating: Summary: re-birth of Donald Goines Review: a Thug's life is gritty hardcore straight in your face reality fiction from the streets. Mr. Long's weaves a story that will have you on the edge from the first page to the last. The only thing I hate about this novel is that it ended. A thug's life is a must read. Turn off the TV's get some popcorn and something to drink, because you will need it. Can't wait for the movie.

Rating: Summary: B-more's Finest Review: This great literary work takes you deep inside the lives of two hardcore drug dealers on the streets of Baltimore. (Or Bmore, as those who live here affectionately call it).Throughout this book you will be longing to know what becomes of it's characters. It will make even the most logical and rational person root for the "bad guy". This book shows you exactly what a thug is and what a thug isn't. Some stereotypes are sure to be broken by the time you're finished. All hail Thomas Long as he takes you deep undercover in the "game" and doesn't allow you to leave until the last play has been called and there's no time left on the clock! To the author, Thomas, I really admire your work and I look forward to reading more like it very soon!Ms. Wilson The Page Turnas Bookclub Founding Member
