Review: Dr. Calista Marley is a deputy coroner while her husband Plato specializes in geriatrics. They are planning a wonderful Christmas in Cleveland where they work until a mentally ill prisoner convicted of being the "West End Strangler" escapes and makes a beeline for Cal who was a witness for the prosecution. This is an exciting tale with great characters and a fair share of laughs in spite of the brutal murders. Most memorable in this book is Jimmy, the escaped prisoner. Pomidor draws a convincing and compassionate portrayal of one mentally ill man. Read this and you'll want to buy the whole series.
