Review: Unconvincing plot, unsympathetic characters, and a feeling that the author is at all times referring to a manual on mystery writing. It did keep me wanting to know "what happens next" long enough to get to the end, but I don't plan to seek out more by this author. This book is ersatz du Maurier more than ersatz Christie.
