Summary: Hard to follow.
Review: This is the first book by Clare Curzon that I have read. It was okay, but I found it hard to follow. There were a lot of characters, and it took me about half way through the book until I was comfortable enough to know who they all were without having to stop and think. The storyline itself was somewhat unsatisfying. It seemed as though the police were running around hodge-podge questioning and requestioning people with no specific strategy or reasoning in mind. It was very confusing. It didn't have the organization that most police procedurals have.

Summary: keeps you guessing
Review: This is the fourth book of Curzon'z that I read and one of the most satisfying. May starts out as a school runaway, supposedly because her parents marriage is in trouble, and then is kidnapped. Is her mother trying to kill her father? Is an enemy using May to get to her father? This book kept me on edge. I specially enjoyed the focus on Detective Seargant Z and her feelings about her troubled past.
