Review: Spite, greed and skullduggery combine in this breakneck search for a hidden $10 million lottery ticket. Puzzlers and lexicographers will enjoy the string of clues. Some paramilitary villians complicate things and there's even an unlikely romance that bubbles up among the main combatants.

Summary: A complex mystery thriller with a strong dose of humor.
Review: This first effort is loaded with plots and subplots and requires the reader to focus on the details at all times. Zobel's ability to weave a compelling story mixed with technology and humor is admirable. His ability to drop a clue then pick up the meaning much later in the novel is outstanding. This book is a challenge to read and stimulating through and through. I look forward to future novels by John Zobel.
