Summary: Home is wehere the heart is
Review: The central theme of this Parker novel is home. Parker finally has a safe house he can exist at between jobs. But it means more to Clair, his new girl friend. It is actually Home (with a capital H). Then some loose struings from his last job follow him to his new house in the New York area. And when this threat envolves Clair, Parker gets mad. There really isn't a lot to say about his book; it's lean, fast paced, and a faster read. Parker is fleshed out a little, as when he says that Clair is "impportant to me", I guess that's as close to "I love you" as he's going to get. Alright, but I didn't exactly understand the two killers motive for their crimes; if I did understand it right, than it made no scense what so ever. Oh well. Not the best Parker novel, but there is no bad Parker novel (yet).
