Review: After recently re-reading this book, I felt the need to urge others to read it too. If you like a mystery that keeps you guessing, a love story that sizzles, a leading lady who is as smart as she is sexy, and a hero who defines the meaning of the word - then this is the novel for you. Claire and Cassidy leads a cast of well-crafted characters, that will keep you eager to turn the page and find out what comes next. Unfortunately for us readers,(as with all Sandra Brown's books) the endings come way to quickly, and you have to shift your imagination into overdrive to keep the story going in your mind past the final chapter. "FRENCH SILK" is a fantastic read. Set against the colorful and captivating backdrop of New Orleans, Ms. Brown weaves a tale of mystery, suspense and an unforgettable story of romance and family loyalty. Claire will stop at nothing to protect her fragile mother from an unforgiving world, her best friend from the perils of loving a married man, and the company she founded from the ravings of a religious fanatic. Cassidy is her perfect match. He is looking to solve the case of the decade, and trap a cold-blooded killer - even it it means investigating the woman he could'nt help loving. Review: As my title says, this was my first Sandra Brown book, and to this day it is one of my favorite books by her. My second favorite is TEMPEST IN EDEN.

Review: French Silk is definitely one of Sandra Brown's better works. I enjoyed it very much. At times it was a bit predictable, but it didn't detract from the book. The characters were well thought out and elaborated on, and the pace of the book was quick.

Summary: Not Bad, but Not her Best either
Review: I thought French Silk was a pretty good book overall. It did seem to drag on for a while, but at the same time, she fed you enough for you to want to keep reading. Towards the end of the book, the pace definately picked up. There was a definate surprise at the ending, but I have to say I was disappointed on how she just abrubtly ended it. There was never any word on if the suspect was caught or what happened to him. I have to say, I was slightly upset when I finished, but overall it was a good read.

Summary: Swit killed this one for me!
Review: This is one of the earlier audio books by Sandra Brown. This story has a lot of twists and turns. I will admit that listening to this one might not be the best bet. Part of my rating it a 3 is due to the fact that Loretta Switt's southern accent drove me absolutely nuts. It made me dislike the story.Claire Laurent is the founder and designed of a lingerie company who has been under attach from a television preacher. So who is one of the prime suspects when this preacher dies in his room.... Claire. But, she claims that she is not the killer and that someone is trying to set her up.. At the same time she is not cooperating at all with DA Robert Cassidy who has fallen in love with her. In fact she continues to lie to him, until he forces her hand as he keeps digging up things. If I was him the first 3 or 4 times she lied I would have let her take her punishment. There were a lot of twists and turns though and just when you think you know where things are going it will change again.

Review: This was the first book I read by Sandra Brown and was I hooked. I believe it is one of her very best works and I keep going back and re-reading again and again!!! I've read all of her books and she keeps the bestsellers coming! In French Silk, she brings a beautiful, lady-like lingerie business owner and a detective, a real man's man together yet apart. Wonderful plot twists and a surprising ending. Steamy passion scenes and pulse pounding page turns makes this an awesome read. I couldn't put it down!!!! I read the book in one night!!!!

Review: When I read the reviews about this book on this site I was bit sceptical about whether to buy this book or not... Anyway I went ahead and bought it and boy wasn't that a great decision!!!!
I loved reading this book.The mystery is great and the main characters Cassisdy and Claire are fantastic. The book was quick pased and I couldn't put it down. I loved it so much I also took it with me to work. Buy it you won't be dissapointment.
