Review: Mistrial is the fourth in Woody Hanstein's mystery series featuring lawyer, Pete Morris. My friends and I can hardly wait for number five!

Woody Hanstein is a trial lawyer in Maine. His books are published by a small local press and each one is a gem. Were they published by a larger, more famous press, they would all be best sellers.

Pete Morris, a small town lawyer, his family, friends and town develop and become more colorful as each book progresses. The reader cares about Pete and roots for him on every page. The plots are tight and innovative with satisfying, but not trite, conclusions. I would rank all Woody Hanstein's books right up there with Thomas Perry and some of our finest mystery writers. He will be "discovered" soon with the result that his early editions will be priceless.
