Summary: Knee Deep Leaves You Wanting More
Review: "Another nifty thriller/whodunit from the pen of Lisa Polisar. This one offers up a nasty psychopath and plenty of red herrings. The characters are well drawn and sympathetic, the plot makes sense, the bad guy is really scary, and the book is well presented. I especially like the New Mexico setting and the historical references. A page turner."

Carter Swart, author of the Lou Corso Mysteries

Summary: An Alarming but Credible Straight-Through-Read: Catch It!
Review: (...)P>Lisa's study of criminal psychology clearly shows in her books, and Knee Deep effectively portrays some disquieting sides of humanity. But as they try to comprehend the absorbing mindset of an unknown killer, readers will also be drawn into another side of humanity. The subtle charms of the American Southwest are also brought out as the suspense unfolds in a variety of locations in New Mexico. The action is skillfully interwoven with historical references that put the reader in a virtual version of the Land of Enchantment. This reviewer has lived in New Mexico for over 40 years, and I still learned some new facets of the area!

So for some challenging suspense and intelligently drawn characters set in an enchanting environment, get a mystery that is difficult to put down once you are drawn in from the very first page. Get down with Knee Deep!

Summary: Outstanding! A "must read" for the true mystery buff.
Review: Lisa Polisar has, yet again, created a truly outstanding mystery. From beginning to end, you will be on the edge of your seat. And don't think you will easily figure out who done it. I couldn't read it fast enough. Well done Lisa, I'm looking forward to your next book.

Summary: You've gotta read this!!!!
Review: Tamara Kindrel has been missing for two years. It's a case that has haunted Sheriff Judd Eakins and BLM Law Enforcement Ranger Leo Drucker. When human remains are found in a cavern where the young woman was doing research, a cold missing person's case turns into a murder investigation. Sheriff Eakins and Ranger Drucker struggle to make up for lost time and catch a murderer with a two year head start.

Ranger Drucker and Sheriff Eakins are dealing with their personal demons as they try and track down Tamara Kindrel's killer. Knee Deep is a powerful novel that puts you into the Desert Southwest and pins you there until the case is solved.

Summary: A real thriller!!!
Review: Thriller writer, Lisa Polisar, is in top form with her second book Knee Deep. I especially liked the setting of this one, which takes place all over the enitre state of New Mexico-from big cities like Albuquerque to tiny dots on the map like Tierra Amarilla. BLM(Bureau of Land Management) District Ranger, Leo Drucker, is up to his eyeballs in an unsolved case. And he doesnt realize until its nearly too late how inextricably tied he is to the victim, the victims sister and the underlying reason for her brutal murder. What I didnt expect is how attached I got to a relatively minor character-BLM underling, Frannie DiCosta. She and Drucker make a great pair, and I'm hoping Polisar will bring both of them back in her next book.

Review: Turning from the thriller in her book Blackwater Tango to the mystery in Knee Deep, Lisa Polisar has indeed created a "wrinkle in the fabric of reality" as she adeptly phrases it.
