Summary: Misogynistic Nipple Twister
Review: ...It has everything I want, death, murder, destruction, mayhem and the Olson Twins... I loved the pace and the action, I just wish that Al Roaker was in the book, cause I think it would have given it, just the right flavor. I think Mr. Kulik should continue to write books, but make them more bloody...

Summary: hot air balloons
Review: As the author of this book, I can objectively state that this is probably one of the best stories ever written. Mind-blowing in its intensity, gut-busting in its unbridled humor, and myth-shattering in its sheer brillance, each word of this magnificent text simply thrusts itself off the page and into your quivering, receptive brain, leaving you thirsty for more, more, more! And, all you have to do is click the "add to cart" button, pay your monies, and it can be yours. Now, granted, there are numerous distracting spelling and grammatical errors. But, other than that, The Sleepwalker-A Culture of Pretending is virtually problem-free. So, do yourself a favor, cowboy, and buy yourself a copy today. And then buy some copies for your friends. Then, why don't you go ahead and buy a couple hundred more copies. When they ask you why you're buying so many copies of the same book, you tell them that J. Mark Kulik sent you, and they'll understand.

Summary: Misogynistic Nipple Twister
Review: J Mark Kulik, whose work I am somewhat familiar with, represents the birth of a new wave of raw, unpolished, non-commercialized talent. This book could be the beginning of an entire new movement towards gritty realism, mind-bending symbolism, and an uncompromising will to tell the truth. Or maybe its just some regular old bus station paperback. It's a tough call. I'm going to go with the mind-bending, gritty, raw, uncompromising thing, though.

Summary: II Wish I Could Give This Less Than One Star
Review: J. Mark Kulik is a promising new author. He has created some very entertaining characters, especially the protagonist, Rudy Jelasko. I still don't know whether I hate him or in some sickly way sympathize with him. Regardless, The Sleepwalker is a very interesting, well written dark comedy. In an extreme way, it amusingly shows how pretentious our culture can be. The author's brevity and his witty style of writing kept the story excitng and alive from the beginning to the end!

Summary: FANTASTIC!!!
Review: Much of J Mark's earlier works were filled with a malaise that kept me wishing for a straight razor to be included in order to end my suffering. However, I think he may be on to something, finally. He has taken character development to new bounds. The book allows the reader to decide the pace of the book, which can be perceived on many levels. I had my girlfriend read the book and she was speechless, or horrified, either way it was a genuine reaction. Now many may read this and think there is an individual genius at work, this maybe true. Having known the author for some time I have come to the following conclusion, it's much easier to write it once you lived it. Many of the characters, situations, settings and concepts have been taken from his chilling reality. Sitting are Sally's and coming up with various posthumous embeleshments, off the wall remarks and the Bell Man have influenced one of the most promising young writers today. Seriously the book is excellent. Don't expect some cheesy romance or by the book, no pun intended, structure. This is possibly the most original story to date. Don't let the small label or unknown writer fool you, this is A+ work.

Summary: Ashlee Simpson
Review: Personally, I'd rather listen to Ashlee Simpson singing show tunes than read even one page of J. Mark Kulik's book. And that's saying alot because I LOVE books. Alot. Ok....truthfully, I'm really not into reading books and I do find Ms. Simpson's singing delightful. Hhhmmm...Alright you want the truth? J. Mark Kulik is my dad and I'm using this forum as a way to vent my anger because of the thousands of dollars he owes my mom and I in child support. I know you're probably making millions with this book deal, dad - now it's time for you to step up and be a father for once. I love you! ...and if Ashlee Simpson is reading this....could I get some free tickets to your show?

Summary: The real deal
Review: Stalking down the side streets, just off of Division Street in Chicago, late at night with a hunting knife clenched tight in his hand, Rudy Jelasko was hoping to see just one lit-up cell phone display in the distance, so he could liberate its user from this mortal coil. The knife had not seen enough action that day, while the cell phone user may have seen too much. It was time to level out the playing field. Rudy was fed up with the pretending, with the fakers, with the phonies, and he knew it was time to take them all on. Even if, deep down, he knew he was pretending, too. Read the book and find out the rest.
