Review: Russia has become a land dominated by lawless corruption and violent criminal syndicates. None of these are more powerful or viscous than an underworld family known as the Knives, who together with a band of assassins from the Middle East, set out to create a global empire of terror.
To counter the menace, an elite team of commandos is sent to hunt down and destroy the threat before it's too late. In one thrilling encounter after another, the adversaries show no mercy, but nothing in either side's arsenal of weaponry can match the lethal cunning or ferociousness possessed by their female saboteurs. Like queens on a chessboard, they stop at nothing to outmaneuver and eliminate their rivals in order to achieve a checkmate, which will forever change the world's balance of power.

When a dangerous woman brilliantly defeats or kills a man, I get
really shivering, and the writer makes you feel so, since the female characters in the book are so merciless. For example :
** Once he was finished off, Inga placed her right foot on top of the kneeling victim's shoulders for extra leverage, and began to pry the blade out of his body. **
** His mouth gaped open in surprise when he turned around and found Natasha's icy glare at the end of a pistol pointed between his eyes. **
