Rating: Summary: Fast-paced suspense thriller! Review: "Dark Justice" is a fast-paced suspense thriller that deals with contemporary issues sensitively, but simultaneously with a head-on attitude that will strike a chord of moral rightness in every reader's psyche. With vividly drawn characters it pulls you into the well-plotted world of Detective Alix Mendez. Rating: Summary: Being a man, Dark Justice scared me witless! Review: Dark Justice was certainly an eye-opener for me! The authors, Bentley and Britt-Hay have put together a well thought out thriller. I was hooked from the very beginning. They wrote Dark Justice from a unique perspective that only a woman would know. The novel is well researched and clearly reveals the torment that many women suffer at the hands of abusive husbands. It's a great story. I guarantee you the plot will reel you in.
Rating: Summary: Rivetting and thought provoking Review: I found this book both rivetting and thought provoking. It grabbed me very quickly and took me on a journey into the mind of a battered woman, who had decided to fight back. It was quick-paced, well-written and researched, and gave me a great sense of place. The characters were believable and interesting, and I developed real sympathy for the protagonist. The storyline had some great twists in it, but was always believable. The development of the quirky female dectective's character was a nice touch and glued the whole thing together.
Rating: Summary: Dynamite! Review: I must admit, I am not much of a mystery or "whodunnit" buff, but I fell in love with Dark Justice from the moment I read the first page. Whew! The authors, Bentley and Britt-Hay have spun an interesting tale of good, evil, revenge and reward in an unlikely heroine, Meagan Sanborne. I didn't know if I should love Meagan or hate her. And there were times when I wanted to scream at Detective Alix Mendez for not picking up on subtle clues. Great work ladies. Looking forward to reading Dark Obsession amd Dark Deeds.
Rating: Summary: This one will keep you up nights Review: I thoughly enjoyed this book. Meagan and Alex came to life. This is a beautifully crafted book with lots of twists and turns. I couldn't put it down.
