Rating: Summary: The Sigma Project Review: --Fredric Stern has written a gripping story of intrigue and suspense. In the late 1950s, the CIA developed sophisticated new drugs to help brainwash foreign enemies, but the program proved too risky and ultimately too dangerous, so orders were given to shut it down. Unknown to that or subsequent administrations, a group of zealots within the program kept it secretly alive. Now, 35 years later, they use 90s technology to refine their drugs to understand and control the brain's thought processes. Readers will find this medical thriller hard to put down. --

Rating: Summary: Sigma Project alive & well.. Review: I've read the book and the book failed to mention the pharmacy company that develops all these drugs. SAIC an organization with the CIA developed some of these mind control drugs to control out of bounds US citzens. Butner FCI,Butner, NC is the federal incarceration facility that experiments on its prisoners/inmates with these drugs.
Rating: Summary: The Sigma Project by F. Stern, M.D. Review: Move over John Grisham! Fred Stern takes us into the underworld of medicine in The Sigma Project like Grisham has penetrated the world of law and courtrooms. You're hooked into the unsuspecting plight of Dr. Geoff Davis from the get-go, hoping that good guys really do prevail. As the plot thickens and seeming friends turn enemy, The Sigma Project takes you on a rollercoaster ride of adrenalin. This is The Fugitive, The Firm, and E.R. all rolled into one thrilling and entertaining read! Stern gets two thumbs up...way up! I look forward to his next book.
