One should plan to put all other tasks aside before beginning the book because once begun, it must be finished without interruption. There is fertile ground here for intense media interest, i.e., a movie or mini-series. This reader could not put the book down!

Review: I thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated this book. Not only will the factual detail be apparent to any fan of historically accurate fiction, but the author expertly implements it to lure you into this gripping story. This is one of those rare novels whose last pages you don't want to reach because you don't want it to be over. I was engrossed from beginning to end, and you will be too! This makes the second wonderful book I've read by Robert Stein - the first was THE BLACK SAMARITAN - and I'm anxious to devour more.

I found myself wanting the main character Robert Savy not to be so driven by revenge and focus more on enjoying life now, but because Stein has a way with words I understood and was moved.

Review: This book will take you on a one way ride to another time era, when life was not supposed to be so complicated, yet, one man who becomes rich beyond anyone's wildest dreams, uncovers the truth behind the death of his parents, and that of the Holocaust. This book would make for a great movie, and I urge anyone in the movie business to buy the book and read it for yourself. You would make a zillion dollars, and the world would come to know the truth about uncovered truths regarding the Holocaust.
