Rating: Summary: Back Alleys: A Review Review: Jessica Eppley is a new author on the scene, and I can honestly see her taking off as a successful fiction writer after reading Back Alleys. It was a highly suspenseful and riteously funny novel about a police detective who travels from his rough life in the "back alleys" of New York City to the outskirts of his childhood ranch in Ballarat, Australia to catch up with the family he left behind. It was a heartwarming tale with plenty of "awws" in it, as well as a rigid survival of the fitest/knight in shining armor story that in my opinion, lived up to every page. I read up on the author, Jessica Eppley, and for a 19 year old right out of high school, this is a highly advanced and highly entertaining read. I reccommend it to anyone who likes a good adventure/comedy/romance novel. You can't beat Back Alleys.
