Review: A jaded professor abruptly resigns his rat race job looking for a fresher perspective of living and is curiously drawn into a web of murder, incest, seduction, and revenge hidden for fifty years by contemptuous characters in a small Southern town. The twisting riddles are masterfully spellbinding with gut-clutching intrigue that keeps one turning the pages to the end which is surprising as the events leading up to it are suspenseful.
