Summary: Best Murder Mystery Around
Review: I have read Mr. Kastl's novel, and I can say that I felt like I stepped right smack into the middle of New Orleans! He writes in such detail, I felt that I was watching a movie. This is just as good as his second novel, Legal Incubus. I want to read everything he has written. I'm going to go search right now.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Love It!
Review: I loved this novel. It is a wonderful mystery and I recommend it highly for anyone who likes New Orelans.

Summary: Reader Beware! ICE KEY will leave you cold
Review: Reader beware! This is a very disappointing piece of "literature"--if the word can be so loosely used. The author apparently has little to no formal education since the pages of this book are filled with outrageous typographical errors that even a third grade elementary school student could pick out. The author tries desperately to mask this lack of education by throwing in a heap of large vocabulary words, so keep Webster close at hand. (He will undoubtedly also provide a more interesting alternative reading choice in comparison to this book). The storyline of homeless children being sold as high dollar sex slaves to pedophiles by corrupt medical doctors is morbid work seeded in and sprung deep from the not so deep memoir wells of a sick, twisted, and disturbed individual who apparently needs to spend more time in psychoanalysis. Loose ends in the story are left dangling like the raw, twitching nerves of a rudely yanked tooth. At the conclusion of this book, the reader is left with a frosty chill in the heart and mind--not so much from the book's title, but from the lack of respect shown by the author for the reader's intelligence. There is one good and comforting aspect about this book, however; ICE KEY is out of print. Therefore, nobody should have to pay full price to be insulted, disrespected, and bored to tears by it.

Summary: Wonderful!
Review: This is a wonderful murder mystery. The other reviewer, Mata, is obviously a campy enemy of Mr. Kastl's. The book is simply wonderful. She is not.

Summary: Best Murder in New Orleans
Review: This is the best New Orleans murder mystery I have ever read. I recommend it to anyone who is interested in murder in New Orleans. It is written with such detail about that great city. I am going to name my new puppy "Silk Dragon." My next book I read is going to be Legal Incubus. I know it will be as good as Ice Key!
