Summary: JUST JOKING!
Review: Hey Zach
The last review makes us even for what you did to me when I visited Indiana University! In all honesty I loved this book and know you are reading your reviews all the time so had to get to you somehow. For all of the rest of you, this is a simply wonderful book. It is original and if you read between the lines has much to offer

Summary: Ingenius book
Review: "City at Night" breaks revolutionary new ground in the book world. The writer is young, fresh and utterly compelling in his ability to interweave storylines, characters, and elements of pyschology, philosophy, and the arcane.

The novel follows the life of a graudate student new to the City of Chicago. It follows him through an unitentional romp through the city streets, hunted by the law, a brutal drug syndicate and a meglomaniacal socialite obssessed with mythology who was the reason for the unforgetable lead character's escapades.

I am typically skeptical about most new thrillers out there. Most follow the same formula, but the sheer ingenuity of this writing blew my mind, and I'm sure the minds of most all other readers. This title is a must read and this is coming to you from a new book a day reader!

Summary: Very fun, Very Deep, Very enthralling
Review: After putting down this particular novel I went back to my couch to sit and think about it a bit. As I thought about the more and more I wanted to read it again. So the next night I did.

Why? Well it had numerous levels that I found to be enthralling.
The first of these was the actual plot. It's fast paced, there was constantly something going on. A lot of books these days loose my interest quite quickly- This one didn't. It kept me flipping finger cutting page after page. The theme of the city and urban up's and down's was so real. The content had a black/white effect to it, you didn't know whether you were inspired to do be a do-gooder, or inspired to be the diametric opposite and crave power much like my favorite character- Richard-
2) As stated above, you could not get a better cast of characters if Spielberg was doing the casting. They were exaggerations of each and every one of us, we related to them, but at the same time we either loved them or hated them. This was key. It provided realism mixed with fiction. Entertainment with psychology.
3) There are hidden themes in the writings that I still ponder. It came off as a good/ versus evil, but in reality was a connundrum. Much like some of the best writers out there Zachary Weiner, confuses us with his characters which gives them a bone chilling thrilling effect. Certain sentecnes and phrases in the novel were hints, clues as to what the author was trying to get at, and I will be picking my brain to figure them out. Was there an order? Was there an underlying theme? My book club must discuss!
4) Point blank, the style of writing was simple yet elequent- Smooth and clear, yet deep prolific and profound.
My overall feeling was that I couldn't ask for more out of a piece of fiction. I would reccomend this book to any fiction fans, Any at all.... Of any genre......

Summary: This is the worst book ever!
Review: I've never read such a horrible, horrible story. This "novel" is so bland, I pity the trees who were cut down in order to make paper to print this book on. Words are misspelled, punctuation is missing, and Weiner's writing style is non-sensical and immature. I am hoping that this is the first and only book by Weiner, and I just can't believe such rubbish would ever be published! Save your time and money, don't bother reading this book.

Summary: This is the worst book ever!
Review: Mr. Weiner has created a compelling, fast-paced story driven by a great cast of characters. I don't know who Mr. Weiner is, where he comes from, or how tall he is, but nevertheless, the brother can write. In all, this really is a great new writer to check out and I wish him the best.
Even if you are illiterate, you must read this book.
