Summary: Could NOT put it down.
Review: Deadly Revenge by Vicky Stowers is one of the most riviting books I have read in a while. It has more twists and turns than a country road. I picked it up and did not put it down until I was finished. I would recommend this book to anyone. I can't rave about it enough.

Summary: Deadly Revenge
Review: Deadly Revenge is a very good mystery. The characters were believable and well developed. The plot was carried along very well through out the entire book. The action was described very well. This is a very good book. I would recommend it to anyone.
The only flaw I found was some errors in punctuation and captilization, which could have occured when the publisher converted the manuscript to their print program. I have recommended this author to others who are avid readers.

Summary: best new author I've read in a while!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Review: I bought this book and once I started reading it, I absolutley thought it was wonderful. It is refreshing to be able to sit down and read from an author who is from right here in your home town. I am looking forward to your next book. This book had you not wanting to put it down until you finished the whole thing. I was kept in suspense the whole time. As for the previous comment, this had to be a person who knows little about books, this book was WONDERFUL!!!! Keep up the good work Vicky!!!

Review: I throughly enjoyed this book. I could not put it down. I wanted to keep reading to see what was going to happen next. Sometimes I became confused on how a character became involved in the next situation or circumstance but that could just be me not paying attention to what I was reading. However, it was a great book. I was trying to solve the mystery throughout the entire book and by the time I was finished it did not end like I thought. So it really kept me on the edge of my seat. I recommend this book for anyone who loves thrillers.

Summary: This is a novel with serious flaws!
Review: This is a first novel by an author who went the self publishing route. Now, not all self published novels are bad, but this one is. It falls in the mystery/suspense genre, but it is a mystery that is easy to figure out. It doesn't take Columbo to figure out the her ex husband wants to ruin the life of the main character, Amber, who is on the run from a killer in the woods. Along the way she meets two people who aren't what they appear to be. The characterizations are weak, they behave and say things that don't even follow their character. The whole plot is unbelievable, from the catalyst for Amber's downfall, leaving her children in her car with the keys in it in her driveway while she runs inside to get her purse, and then someone steals it. Who would really do something like that? Not the perfect mother the author portrays Amber to be! And then she tells this story, which she has never told anyone before, to a perfect stranger? I wouldn't think so. The whole book is like that. Fiction is story telling, but if it isn't believable, it's hard to get into the story and care about the characters. And the other reviewer is right, there are lots of twists and turns, but they aren't believable, and some aren't even logical. Just save your money, don't spend twenty bucks for a bad book which if published by a traditional house would only be six or seven. Get Tess Geritsen or Iris Johansen instead. They know how to tell a believable story.

Summary: best new author I've read in a while!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Review: This is a first time novelist, and it shows. It is full of problems, beginning with the characterization. They don't act or speak like real people would, and don't even act like the character, unrealistic as they may be, that the writer has created. The other reviewer is right, there are lots of twists and turns, but these too are unrealistic. Some things are so absurd it's almost funny. Fiction is story-telling, but the best stories are those which could be real. This novel does not live up to that expectation.
